00:00We have a look at Iran at the moment, and we're talking about Operation Freedom with Dr. Eli,
00:04and that's been paused while negotiations happen. Has Iran actually gained some leverage here by
00:12forcing Washington to step back, even if it's temporary? And lots of people are saying,
00:18well, it looks like this memorandum is just on the Strait of Homoz. It doesn't even include
00:22the nuclear issues. Yeah, I don't know that you'd necessarily say they've gained leverage. I think
00:28they're definitely chalking it up to a win, this pause. I think they've got 1,500 ships stuck in
00:37the Strait of Homoz, and since Project Freedom began a few days ago, we've only seen two initially,
00:44and now I think it's up to 11, have actually been escorted through. So it's less than 1% of
00:50the
00:50ships that are struck. So Iran is seeing this as potentially the US backing down. Washington is
00:58not pushing it as that narrative. They're saying it's strategic diplomacy. But whatever it is,
01:05Iran is claiming the propaganda victory here. I think that what's going to happen is, what's
01:12happened is Iran is actually feeling the pressure as well, diplomatically. They've got China talking
01:18to them. They've got Pakistan, all these regional countries really pushing for a resolution.
01:24They've got military pressure from the US, and then their economy is feeling the pressure as well.
