00:00Particularly if one looks at the conflicting stories that we see playing out in the United States versus in some
00:09ways in the rest of the world, but particularly Iran and the Middle East.
00:14Because I feel as though at the beginning of the week, the optimism that President Trump expresses about the situation
00:24with the negotiations is always very great.
00:29And it seems that this is partially designed for him to control the markets in the United States, the stock
00:36market and the oil market.
00:38And on the other hand, in Iran, the tone is much more somber.
00:43There is a great and growing sense that they distrust the United States and that negotiations are not proceeding in
00:52a way that gives any possibility of real breakthrough.
00:57And particularly this last few days, Iran has said that unless conflict stops in Lebanon, that it simply is not
01:06going to continue negotiations with Washington.
