01:31experienced and that we had all the latest updates and the information.
01:34Right here on our screen on TereZoo, we're seeing now general images of the several days' festivities over the weekend.
01:41How Venezuelan people, when en masse, as we're saying, a massive turnout as its characteristics of the Venezuelan people to
01:49take part in these great celebrations of joy and happiness as part of the actions taken by the Bolivarian government
01:58also to ensure that the people enjoy their festivities and enjoy this time with their families and loved ones.
02:28Well, there is economic activity there.
02:34In the FalcĂłn State as well, because this activity that is deployed to take care of the users, the customers.
02:48But it's important to talk about nature.
02:54President, the plan was successful.
02:57We had an important deployment for our cultural identity.
03:07And this shows us how we can work here on the land with different products that are cultivated.
03:18Something that was a protagonist of this carnival was the communal circuits.
03:24As we were saying, the communal circuits are now going to meet the mayor of Caracas.
03:31This year in Caracas, it was the communes.
03:35The community councils, the community activities are volunteers of recreation.
03:42We saw there the small plant also hiding their activities.
03:47What are your opinions as a Venezuelan youth?
03:51Well, greetings, President, all the Venezuelan people.
03:54We experienced a carnival season.
03:56I think it was very rich and full of joy and happiness and of healthy enjoyment of the part of
04:02the population above all.
04:03So the call, we have to continue working in all 44 national parks, the 37 national monuments, and the several
04:11recreation parks that institute controls.
04:14We are able to continue to develop ecotourism, sustainable tourism,
04:21but always searching for the perfect harmony that must exist between that development and the different activities of humanity.
04:29Well, that's the essence of our people, Rosinean.
04:32We are arriving here to the recreation plan, Smile Plan 2026.
04:38The governor of Miranda State is here, the minister of youth, the minister of sports.
04:45What can you tell us? How was Miranda this year?
04:48It was a very good acting president.
04:50It is true that we were across the whole territorial space of Miranda with permanent activity in the over 400
04:59communal circuits of Miranda.
05:02All the municipalities, they were very active in relation to the carnival.
05:07But also, as you know, the beaches of Barlovento experienced a high turnout.
05:13The destination this year was beaches, right? Yes.
05:18Those over 7 million, over 400 million, 400 thousand that moved, weren't to the beaches of Venezuela.
05:28So it's very important.
05:30And the Smile Plan?
05:33Well, President, happy to have closed these carnivals in peace.
05:37We can tell you that the integral network of recreation, we had over 8,000 volunteers that brought joy to
05:44our children and elderly.
05:47As we were saying, we had over 140 points of high influence as the beaches and rivers.
05:53And also, we had a lot of impact in the communal circuits.
05:59The network went to all the homes, all the neighborhoods.
06:03And these sportsmen and persons also take part in these activities.
06:07That's right, President.
06:09As you were saying, with all the numbers that you expressed previously, all the national movements of sports, national and
06:16municipal,
06:17together with volunteers, they were deployed across the national territory in all communal circuits with a very good participation.
06:25I had the chance to be in Swategui State with our governor.
06:30And we worked there in two paths, beaches, rivers, which are part of the 140 points of high influence,
06:39but also different sports activities and cultural activities.
06:43Excellent. Today is Ash Wednesday, and today the teams can begin to prepare.
06:48We say farewell to carnivals, and we begin to prepare to welcome the high week.
06:54And this is the spirit of Venezuela, of all Venezuelans, that vindicate their cultural identity,
07:02that vindicate their right to peace, tranquility, that vindicate their right to a Venezuela of understanding,
07:11of tolerance, of respect.
07:13This is the real Venezuela, the true Venezuela.
07:17This is the Venezuela that we must join to consolidate that new spirituality, Daniela.
07:24President, yes, it is a constitutional right, the enjoyment of our people.
07:29And we can see here in different expressions how the carnival was lived across the national territory.
07:35For us, the greatest achievement is the joy of our people.
07:38For us, the great achievement and the greatest victory is that our people were able to return home,
07:44and our children were able to enjoy, look, have a space for a healthy recreation,
07:54away from the screens of social networks, that our children can breathe, play with the land,
08:00they can paint, they can throw water balloons in this carnival.
08:05Now, Naun was providing a report from Caracas.
08:08Caracas was in carnival as well. How many comparisons were there?
08:12Well, we had activity, the president, in all the communal circuits here in Caracas,
08:19with community carnivals, different cultural expressions across the territory.
08:25We were able to see the diversity, the concerts, the music, and the sports agenda
08:30that we also deployed here in the Caracas with marathons, bicycle tours,
08:34and, well, all the spaces that have been recovered in Caracas city,
08:38they were put in this position for the Venezuelan families,
08:42so that with a high turnout, we can highlight the participation of children,
08:47the full participation of children, with all the creativity that we saw in the different categories,
08:53where we saw the heroes of our homeland, of course, everything that has to do with Venezuela,
08:57the national parks, and everything that we established as the city of Caracas in Guaragas Repano,
09:03full of people, many people visited the city from the other areas of the country,
09:08where the mountains also took part in the festivities, yes, tourism in the mountains,
09:12adventurous tourism, everything that we did, the routes in Caracas was there,
09:16over 83 routes that we have, that were established right now,
09:19we established new mechanisms, so that the communal circuits can be part of it,
09:23and be part of the carnival.
09:25Minister of Transport, how were the movement, what was the main one across the ground, across the land?
09:34Yes, exactly, the Bolivarian government, the original government,
09:37put over 1,200 transportation units to be able to move over 730,000 people
09:45to the different destinations at the national level.
09:48We want to highlight, of course, the main destination was La Guaida State.
09:52We also put at the disposition, there were over 590 national flights to transport more than 33,500 passengers across
10:04the nation.
10:05Imagine that the increase was over 70% this year, and that mobilization that we had this year,
10:14through the carnivals, also had an impact on the economy.
10:17The transactions, the electronic transactions commerce grew 41% in relation to 2025,
10:23but also the visits to supermarkets also grew by 13%, the visits to malls also grew.
10:34We are seeing positive impact on the economy at the hands of our people,
10:39with our own efforts, and no one comes here saying that someone is helping Venezuela,
10:46no one can say this, no, it's thanks to the Venezuelan people, it's thanks to the effort of our people,
10:53that amid a criminal attack, a people that, as Daniela has said,
11:00these are people that know how to recover, it's a people that stand up.
11:04We began the year 2026 with an aggression on January 3rd, an aggression against our country,
11:12and here it is, here we are, February, and the Venezuelan people is standing strong.
11:18The Venezuelan people is working, the Venezuelan people is fighting,
11:23and I want to congratulate the officials of the different security agencies of civil protection,
11:31firefighters that we have seen them in all the different scenarios,
11:37vacations, in the beaches, in the mountains, on the plains, the officials have been there.
11:42Over 228,000 officials were activated in this plan for safe carnivals, peace and happy.
11:52We are here also with the mayor of Caracas, well I congratulate all the leaders of the organizations in charge
11:58of protection,
11:59because there was a very good articulation among them, and I must say this,
12:05because the Venezuelan people recognizes this.
12:08As I came here, I read the opinion polls, and what the opinion polls say,
12:12we congratulate the security plan for these carnivals.
12:15What can you tell us, Diosdado?
12:18Good afternoon, dear President.
12:23Well, this is the response, this is the response of a team, the security organization units that have their specific
12:36tasks,
12:37they fulfill this with high effectiveness, and we know how to work as a team.
12:43We were deployed across the national territory.
12:48There were 228,000 officials that in normal conditions could have been with their families.
12:55They, based on their work, in the decision to be able to protect Venezuela as a whole,
13:02so that our people feel safe, they went to the streets.
13:05228,000, they also enjoy this, because they do this work with passion.
13:10No one is obligated here.
13:14So I want to create all, every firefighter, all members of the police, of all police,
13:21that once some have fun, our officials are there paying attention in the beaches,
13:26on their roads, their responsibility, that accidents do not happen.
13:35Our officials are there caring.
13:38While we are having fun, while the Venezuelan people is enjoying carnivals,
13:43our security officials are there working.
13:46That's why we come together to that recognition.
13:49There is also a personnel that is volunteer, that year after year they join,
13:54and we have regularities every year, so that they join the team.
13:58And the result is this, that people can go out from a place to another,
14:03and can say, I'm on a road, and I'm safe, because if something happens,
14:09I will have someone that will help me.
14:11What can you tell me?
14:13You were gossiping something about me.
14:16You were giving something head start, that Caracas, the communal circuits were very important.
14:21What can you tell us this year?
14:23Well, this year, President, we did it differently.
14:27First, because people demanded it.
14:30Since we were with the communes and empowering the people,
14:34over 219 communes were there doing the carnivals on the territory,
14:40enjoying children, elderly, everything, youth.
14:44One could go to a parish, and it was something different.
14:47There's something new, which is the Toboggan in San Agustin,
14:56where children enjoyed that moment, with different ministries seeing this.
15:04And people were enjoying their time there.
15:07And I also took part of it, because it became fashion.
15:10But it's true that it was an extraordinary carnival,
15:14with the people's power organized, President.
15:16Well, let's give a big applause to the Venezuelan people,
15:21to those that stayed home, also resting, which is also a way of recreation.
15:26We can say seeing TV, watching movies, is also a way to be happy.
15:33So, congratulations to all of Venezuela, to all our people,
15:36and congratulations to our officials that have fulfilled with their duty
15:42in order to protect all Venezuelans.
15:46Thank you to all of you.
15:53We're listening to the acting president taking part in this update
15:58on how the carnival season was experienced across the nation,
16:02and providing the successful results that took place.
