00:00of what we are able to do, of what we are capable, the action as people and political
00:09actors we are doing with this law.
00:14On January 30th, when I announced the Amnesty Law in the opening of the judicial year that
00:23comprised the whole political process from 1999 with violent incidents and other non-so-violent
00:32incidents with political ends, but that we know that in many occasions violence with political
00:38ends led to hate crimes and that those hate crimes also led to justify foreign aggressions
00:47against Venezuela.
00:47That's why I believe that in 20 days we have shown an extraordinary political maturity
00:55of all those that have participated, not only in the National Assembly, but also the members
01:04of the Program of Democratic Co-Existence and Peace to whom I also appreciate the broad consultation
01:12they did.
01:13And this law, as you know, because Venezuela were able to know firsthand from the deputies,
01:20they were able to learn the content of an amnesty for crimes with origin of political violence.
01:28But it's a law that has led us even beyond, and that is why as a professional of law, I
01:36feel
01:37very pleased.
