00:00Switching gears now, a Coover couple was gunned down in a brazen double murder this afternoon.
00:04According to reports, 38-year-old Devon Toussaint and his girlfriend Amelia Hernandez and their young daughter
00:13were outside his Jade Court Coover home around 2.30 p.m. when a grey car pulled up.
00:19A man is reported to have exited the car, approached Toussaint and began firing at him.
00:25The woman rushed to protect the child, however, the gunman also fired several times in her direction before escaping in
00:33the car.
00:34Toussaint died at the scene while the girlfriend was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.
00:39TV6 News was told the child was left unharmed.
