00:00Secret Service Emergency Response Team and President of Public Security, LLC,
00:04Barry Donatio. And we have FBI Supervisory Special Agent Chris Hinkle. Gentlemen,
00:11thanks for joining us today to talk about, of course, this case that is just an ongoing,
00:17I don't want to say saga to diminish it, but it just has to be excruciating for the family.
00:23Chris, I want to start with you with this video. If you were working the case,
00:27how would you specifically direct your team? What would you be looking for on this
00:32new released video? Well, I'm going to be looking for the assistance of the public. Somebody's going
00:38to recognize the shape of that individual, the size, the cadence of the walk, not necessarily
00:44the gait, because you can change the gait of your walk as you take a step. Shoe size, the backpack,
00:51the ski mask. It's not something that is, you know, common to see these types of ski mask anymore
00:58with the eyes and the mouth cut out of it. So someone has seen something. Somebody knows that
01:05on this date and time that someone close to them wasn't around and could be this person. But it is
01:13going to be key, the interviews that are being conducted with the neighbors and going through
01:18the leads that are coming in at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
01:24Let's go to you, Barry. Now, do you think that we can expect any new evidence at this point,
01:30like more video from the camera, from the roof that we saw that removed a few days ago? Do you
01:35think we'll get any footage or anything that we can glean from that?
01:40Thanks for having me. And I agree 100 percent with what Chris said. And yes, I think there's going
01:44to be little tidbits of information coming out. The FBI will probably choose to release even more
01:50once they sift through it. I think overall that we are dealing with a low intellect individual here
01:56as the perpetrator. It looks to me like he's never done anything like this before. The first time I saw
02:02this video, I keyed right in on the way he's carrying his pistol. I am a pistol instructor. None of
02:08my
02:08students will carry a pistol like that. It looks like he just has no clue what he's doing. And then
02:14the bizarre action of him taking a rose bush and covering up the camera when he could have simply
02:20just ripped it off or bought a piece of tape and covered it up. It all seems to be bizarre.
02:25So I
02:26think it's going to take out-of-the-box detective work to catch somebody who's an out-of-the-box
02:31and rather bizarre individual. Those are some great points. Chris, do you think the FBI has
02:39some additional images they might not be releasing yet? Do you think they have more
02:43information that we just haven't been made aware of, understandably so?
02:47It is possible that they've got some additional images and they're following up on leads with
02:53interviewing people about those images before they put it out to the public. What you don't want to do
02:57is get flooded with individuals that bring information that don't benefit the investigation
03:03at this time. So I support the way that they're going about this. I do think that the, well, I
03:10do
03:10know from my personal experience, the FBI is really good at figuring out who these individuals are, the
03:17shape of the head, the way that their arms bend, the size of the individual. Our forensic video and
03:24photo units at the FBI are top notch. And I have, I have pretty good confidence that we'll figure out
03:31who this individual is and hopefully bring a safe resolution to this Guthrie family.
03:39Gentlemen, we have to leave it there. We could probably talk about this for hours, but we have
03:42to take a break here soon. So Chris Hinkle, Barry Donatio, thank you for being here and spreading.
