00:00Sounds a lot like my name and I have nothing to do with a different tribe.
00:03They're very nice people.
00:05They are nice people.
00:06Yeah, no, they have their, that is not me.
00:09Even my friends say that's my name and it's not me.
00:12So no connection there.
00:15And then you can go and ask them.
00:17They'll certainly tell you there's no connection with me.
00:19But nice people.
00:22And they have done some projects in the county.
00:26However, I just think enough is enough.
00:30Everybody that I talk to, it's not just me.
00:33They're all saying enough is enough.
00:34They don't want it.
00:35They don't want it in Churchill.
00:36They don't want it in Southernsville.
00:38They don't want it in Crumpton.
00:39Nobody wants any of it.
00:41And the farmers don't want it.
00:42The other second question, would you also consider limiting the term on all these stinking commissions?
00:48I mean, we have got people that cleaning and zoning is stacked with people and all of us.
00:53You have your liquor board, your appeals board.
00:56It's crazy.
00:57So what she's alluding to is fact.
01:00By the way, so some of these boards that you have county boards, they volunteer.
01:07No, they're not.
01:08They're not all volunteers.
01:09Some of them are paid.
01:10They seem to be stacked with pro-development people.
01:15I just want regular people.
01:17Like, you know, roll the dice and put whoever on, right?
01:21But they all seem to have this agenda of pro-development.
01:25So she's right.
01:27Limiting the terms makes sense as well as limiting the term of a commissioner.
01:30We limit presidential terms.
01:33I know that the other side of the argument is, well, an election is a term limit.
01:39And that's very smart articulation, too.
01:42But the problem is, when you get in political power, you do become very powerful.
01:48I'm for term limits for Congress, the Senate, everything, too.
01:52That's it.
01:53You're not God's gift to whatever political thing you're in.
01:57I'm limiting myself to two terms.
01:59That's it.
02:00I'm done.
02:01You'll have to find somebody to praise me after two terms.
02:04Two terms.
02:05That's it.
02:06I'm going to lead by example.
02:07I'm going to do a lot of things leading by example.
02:11Some of it is going to be, I'm just not going to partake in voting for a pay increase for
02:20commissioners.
02:21I think they're fine where we are.
02:23So that's what I'm going to do.
02:25But thank you for the question.
02:26Does anybody have anything else?
02:29I just had a comment.
02:31Just comment.
02:31I'll come back to you, sir.
02:33Don't underestimate your vote because you would have voted against Chester Haven.
02:37Yes, I would have.
02:38And you would have been the blocking vote.
02:41Right.
02:42It's very critical.
02:43Well, she's right.
02:44I won't be the one vote guy in everything.
02:48You know, there are things that maybe we will probably all agree on.
02:55Probably a lot of things.
02:56There's a lot of good things that these commissioners do.
02:59We can't just throw somebody away because we disagree just on one topic, which is development.
03:05They do good things.
03:06There is preservation of farmland out east as well.
03:09I hope to be a balance on that commission.
03:14I hope to be somebody that adds a balance instead of what we've seen eight years of, yeah, everybody just
03:22agrees every single time with everything.
03:24And then next thing you know, something's developed.
03:26And we're all driving around town.
03:29They're like, how did this get developed so quick, you know?
03:31I'm sorry.
03:33Also, all the commissioners are your water and sewer commissioners.
03:36They should have to print.
03:38You guys should have to print out your stupid little Schedule A every single month because all of a sudden
03:43they fined $300,000.
03:45So I have an issue with that, too.
03:47So we were told there was no more sewer water so nothing else could be built.
03:51And there was a moratorium.
03:53And if I got this wrong, somebody step in and correct me.
03:56There was a moratorium for about a year.
03:58And then magically, more sewer water somehow came out of nowhere, and now we can build again.
04:06Well, wait a minute.
04:06Didn't you just say there was no sewer water left?
04:09So I've got a problem with that.
04:12I've got a problem with it.
04:14And everybody else has a problem with it.
04:16They're not as vocal as me.
04:18They're out there.
04:19They go to work.
04:20They come home from work.
04:21They're not into politics like maybe we would be.
04:23But they agree with us.
04:25The majority of the residents in this county agree with everything right here, right here.
04:32Believe me.
04:33I'm not shaking hands.
04:34They're all saying the same thing.
04:35I'm actually shocked some of the other political people in the county are not hearing it, listening to it, or
04:43caring about it.
04:45In my opinion, it's a lack of empathy.
