00:10I just kind of feel like we're not the priority and our representatives should be representing us and not putting
00:17developers over us.
00:19And that's it. I just hope to be able to serve you. I look at my service as a commissioner
00:25just like my service when I was a volunteer firefighter.
00:29When I was in the Army, when I was in the Air Force, and of course when I was in
00:34the Secret Service. I take this very, very seriously. And I do protect people equally. I've protected both President Bush
00:42and President Obama equally. I did my duty in a nonpartisan way.
00:47And when I'm a commissioner, I will serve everybody equally. And I will do anything possible to alleviate any pain
00:55or suffering or any lack of quality of life to anybody.
01:02And I hope really during my administration that I serve, I really don't want anything out of it. Just like
01:09a volunteer fireman would. So that's what I stand on. I'm willing to take any thoughts or concerns or questions.
01:17I'd love to hear if you guys have any input. Now would be a great time.
01:21I saw somebody. Please see. Did you have something you want to bring out? Anybody? Steve? Anybody?
01:27What's the issue in Queenstown where they're doing a lot of construction and clearing of the property?
01:35So I, it's my understanding that they may be building some more residential there. I don't know exactly where you're
01:42talking.
01:42Is this the area that was annexed?
01:44Was that the office?
01:45Is this the area that was annexed that was the, um, one of the shelters and had some other people
01:49on it and they had it annexed to Queenstown because it shared a border? Is that the property we're talking
01:53about?
01:53Is it Wheatlands?
01:55Wheatlands would be across from the outlet center and that, that is being developed. If you notice, by the way,
02:01there's some, uh, board appointments quickly.
02:04Happening before I swear in on December 1st, uh, there's a lot of things being pushed through very, very quickly
02:11before it's in front of my desk when I swear in on the 1st of December.
02:16So, um, you have to ask, well, what's really going on? And then we have a magical candidate that signed
02:22a petition with 400 signatures and somehow got on the ballot as an unaffiliated person.
02:28But we'd be surprised to see who's, uh, backing this person. They seem to be all associated with developers. Isn't
02:35that interesting?
02:36So I wish him luck, uh, no hard feelings at all. Uh, I kind of like me in that position
02:42because I'm going to fight for everybody here.
02:46And, and all of you pretty much know how I am and you know that I'm pretty, um, honest and
02:52you know that I'm going to keep my word.
02:55So I thank all of you for coming today. Very successful event. This is beautiful. Thank you to the silver
03:01swan, uh, for making this happen.
03:04Uh, it doesn't get any better than this, does it? So thank you for coming.
03:08Get out there and vote.
