00:13For 15 years, I've been turning gas cars to electric vehicles at a shop I call Left Coast EV.

00:19It's just me and a few helpers here in an old light bulb factory in the historic South Central LA neighborhood of Watts.

00:25Oh, by the way, I converted this electric vehicle shop to run completely on solar.

00:29In this garage, the environment comes first.

00:32Today's electric car technology is more complicated than ever, and it's hard to keep up.

00:38While I'm not trying to be the next Tesla yet, I do have a passion for converting these high-end classic cars.

00:44It's exciting to be on the cutting edge of technology, so one day maybe you'll be driving a Gadget Model G yourself.
