00:24Der neue Cirrus G-3 Vision Jet bietet nun Platz für sechs Erwachsene plus ein Kind und hebt sich damit deutlich von seinem Vorgänger ab, der eher auf fünf Erwachsene ausgelegt war.
00:38Möglich wird das durch eine neue Sitzkonfiguration im Heck, ohne die maximale Abflugmasse zu verändern.
00:45Stattdessen wurde das Leergewicht leicht reduziert, wodurch die Zuladung auf rund 1110 kg steigt und selbst mit voller Besatzung noch Reichweite für etwa 500 nautische Meilen bleibt.
01:04Neben der zusätzlichen Sitzreihe hat Cirrus über 30 Detailverbesserungen umgesetzt.
01:10Dazu gehören neu gestaltete, komfortablere Sitze, frische Farbkonzepte für Innenraum- und Außenlackierung, sowie erstmals auch eine komplett schwarze Variante.
01:23Ein technisches Highlight ist die Integration von CPDLC, also der digitalen Textkommunikation zwischen Cockpit und Flugsicherung, was besonders in höheren Flugflächen zunehmend Standard ist.
01:37Der Vision Jet erreicht dabei eine maximale Höhe von Flugfläche 310.
01:44Auch äußerlich gibt es feine, aber funktionale Änderungen, etwa ein festes Lüftungsgitter anstelle der bisherigen Klappenlösung für die Klimaanlage.

05:08New for G3, ATC Data Link, driven by the CPDLC standard, now enables digital pilot ATC text message exchanges, reducing radio congestion and pilot workload.

06:57The forward body has been streamlined by removing the air conditioning door, simplifying the system while reducing drag and noise.
07:04New blackout de-ice boots unify the exterior presence, creating a strong contrast with the all-new Spectra lighting system for an unmistakably modern wingtip, featuring signature Spectra halo lighting.
07:19And form meets function with a new landing light array that pierces the darkness with nearly triple the power of the previous system.
