00:00one of the issues we have is that we have some peak periods you would go on an
00:04aircraft sometimes and be honest with yourselves there's room on the plane but
00:09there are other periods and we know when these periods are we can close our eyes
00:13and say when they would be that we know for sure because even if the Mecca is
00:17in Trinidad and we're doing a smaller version and we're you have the reverse
00:22happening so a lot of our party animals going down the road flights are going to
00:26be extremely full probably from what we call Hyatt line Wednesday all the way to
00:31that weekend and then you have a total reversal from Ash Wednesday with
00:35everybody trying to come up here and so we understand that Caribbean Airlines by now
00:40should also understand that there's some high traffic periods and what do we do in
00:44the high traffic periods especially when we've been having these challenges on
00:47the Seabridge and so Chief Secretary continues to have conversations with
00:52Prime Minister and I want to thank Prime Minister for the listening air we've
00:55always had Miss Hackett also said that any discussion on having the Tobago house
01:01of assembly focus on a single carnival would not be pursued without wide public
01:06consultation what is expected to happen is a gradual pull back from some of the
01:13unnecessary spending you're not just going to wake up one day and say as of
01:18tomorrow there is no more and these conversations would have to be guided by you
01:22with the public we are serving you and so even when that is made it's going to
01:28happen with consultation she insisted that the seven point five million dollar
01:33allocation for Tobago's carnival does not mean that the entire sum will
01:38necessarily be spent Miss Hackett also said there is an expectation that
01:44additional seats will be made available on the average to accommodate increased
01:48demand during the carnival period and the ministers of our transportation and of
01:54course civil aviation aviation and the minister of finance who also has
01:57responsibility for the Caribbean Airlines boats and we expect very soon to hear if
02:03there's going to be some increase in the airlift because we need to mitigate
02:06against the challenges we're currently experiencing Miss Hackett said the Tobago house of
02:12assembly will be focusing on three juve celebrations for the National Carnival
02:17Rocksboro Calder Hall and Crown Point she added that the wider Tobago Carnival
02:22calendar will feature several other activities including Kitty's Carnival the
02:27Junior Carnival Extravaganza Mudmas Thursday nights a THA interdepartment
02:33personality and Calypso competition the Windward Afro Queen show the Calypso
02:38Monarch competition the parade of the bands and additional Mudmask events Elizabeth
