12:27Oh, please, Paul.
12:41You might feel like crying.
12:44People very often do when they come for counseling.
12:51So, you're Sarah Robbins.
12:54Yes. You're 19 and you come from Nottingham, England.
12:58Yeah.
13:00You've been on board for 10 months, plus 5 months to get here.
13:0415 months away from home, yes?
13:05Yeah.
13:08I'm Christophe. I've had two years' experience of counseling.
13:12One before I qualified as a doctor, one after.
13:15Have you ever had counseling before?
13:18Um, only the usual sessions you get when you apply to come up here.
13:21Do you want to tell me what's making you unhappy?
13:29Oh, Penn.
13:32Gabriella, Philippe, come in.
13:34Look, come and sit down and see what you'd like to eat.
13:36It's over here.
13:37What would you like to eat?
13:39How was your class?
13:40He had a look at the modules we'd done on the way up.
13:42Yeah, he didn't seem too impressed in my case.
13:44Oh, never mind.
13:46Vianna's all following you, aren't they?
13:47I'm not really sure who's coming.
13:48Well, we did wait for a bit, but they were all talking to each other.
13:52And then one girl went off to the gym.
13:54Oh, well, perhaps she'll come afterwards.
13:56You must go to the gym.
13:58It's very good for you.
13:59You must take exercise.
14:01They've got all kinds of equipment there.
14:03Well, maybe we could go together.
14:05Er, we already go.
14:06Yeah, we're going to the habit on the way up.
14:08Hmm.
14:11Well, I expect everyone else to be along soon.
14:14Oh, two-step without me.
14:16Hmm.
14:16Oh, two-step without me.
14:44Everything just seems to have gone wrong.
14:52I don't know what to do anymore.
14:54What's gone wrong?
14:59What's the easiest thing for you to tell me about?
15:03Exams, I suppose.
15:04I failed four out of six, and I'm having to retake them.
15:10Why do you think you failed?
15:14My boyfriend told me he didn't want to go out with me anymore.
15:19He's going to get married to somebody else.
15:27We ought to be going now, shouldn't you, Steve?
15:29Yes, I suppose so.
15:30Thanks very much for lunch, Anna.
15:34It was lovely.
15:35I wonder if they thought I meant tomorrow lunchtime.
15:39Yes, maybe.
15:40Do you think so?
15:41Do you reckon?
15:43I expect they had work to do.
15:45Yeah.
15:45Thanks again.
15:48It's funny, nobody came.
15:52Did you get rid of her?
15:54Uh-huh, I put her on the shuttle.
15:55I expect she'll bounce back.
15:57Persistent little thing, isn't she?
15:58Oh, yeah.
15:58Elliot, do you make the story of your life up as you go along?
16:03Certainly not.
16:03It's all true.
16:04No.
16:05She is.
16:05She is.
16:06Do you think she was interested?
16:07No.
16:09She seems to have taken quite a shine to Breland.
16:12No.
16:14She's probably just putting it on, just a worm information out of him.
16:16No, not entirely.
16:18Well, what could a woman see in him?
16:20He's a cold fish.
16:21No, he's not.
16:22He's a man with great passions.
16:25Not for people?
16:26No.
16:27People come second.
16:29Second?
16:31Ninety-ninth.
16:31You take the advice of an old solar ship rider.
16:34Oh, Elliot, don't go on.
16:35I can't face it.
16:37I was going to go down to Space City, but I didn't want to go to Lois Lane.
16:41I'll come with you.
16:42Buy you dinner, if you like.
16:44Well, I...
16:45You're afraid I'm going to get drunk and start making up the story of my life, aren't you?
16:50Yes.
16:50You are the cleverest person on board, you know that?
16:55Including him?
16:56Including me.
16:58Come on.
16:59You need cheering up.
17:00Say yes.
17:03Yes.
17:04Yes.
17:04She's obviously a complete social misfit.
17:08That's why she latched onto us in the first press.
17:09That's a bit hard.
17:10She seems to have a lot of friends.
17:11No, she doesn't, Philippe.
17:12I mean, she's always muscling in other people's conversations.
17:15Well, she's been very nice to us.
17:16Look, I don't want to be horrible.
17:18I don't want to spend all my time with her either.
17:20We don't have to.
17:21How can we avoid it?
17:22I mean, she's forever dropping in and calling up and sitting next to us.
17:25Yeah, but she only does that out of...
17:27There you are.
17:28Oh, you know, I've been looking for you everywhere.
17:31Hi, Anna.
17:34Captain Creasy around?
17:35Oh, he's up till tomorrow.
17:38I'm expecting an Earth Corps.
17:40It's been put off and put off, and now I'm going down to Callisto.
17:43Can you reroute it to me when it comes through?
17:45Yes, yes, of course.
17:46Mr. Peter Lansman, deedless finance.
17:49God knows what he's up to.
17:50Well, you know what they're like in these big corporations.
17:52I'm the one who has to hold everything together when things start falling apart in our hands.
17:56Yes.
17:58You saw the reporter, didn't you?
18:00Oh, she told you, did she?
18:02I think you amused her.
18:03Amused her?
18:04I didn't tell her anything.
18:06That's what amused her.
18:07Next time, try and be a bit more subtle, would you?
18:11Subtle?
18:13I was told not to answer any questions.
18:18Don't do that.
18:20You're giving me a heart attack.
18:21I'm sorry.
18:22Couldn't help myself.
18:23He's so quiet up here.
18:25I like Gantry Four.
18:27That's nice.
18:28It's funny.
18:30Oh, no.
18:35Oh, John.
18:37What happened?
18:38It's practically empty.
18:41When you were swinging me around your head this morning.
18:44Oh, I'm sorry.
18:48Me?
18:49You.
18:50Yep.
18:51Look at that.
18:58Oh.
18:59Well, that'll be nice for her.
19:01Yeah.
19:01Make a change.
19:03You'd better go and find her.
19:04She'll have some sorting out to do.
19:05All right.
19:05See you.
19:06Yeah.
19:08Anna, this could be very dangerous, you know.
19:09I mean, you could upset the whole ecosystem.
19:12Oh, rubbish.
19:12It won't hurt him.
19:13I'm sure his nutrition is very carefully balanced.
19:15I believe what's a study nutritionist.
19:17What's wrong with that?
19:19Uh, he doesn't seem too keen.
19:22Would you be?
19:23And I've had a great idea, you two.
19:26Why don't we have a fancy dress party?
19:29You could get the first chance to come, and I could get my crowd.
19:32It was silly me trying to have a lunch party.
19:34Everybody's busy at lunchtime.
19:36But I know they'd love to have a party in the evening.
19:39What about next week?
19:41Well, I...
19:42I think it might be good.
19:43Yeah, it would be nice.
19:44Yeah.
19:45I've got some good news for you.
19:46Me?
19:47Yeah.
19:48Your outstanding performance in the physics exams.
19:50You've been awarded a bursary for a visit to the Deep Space Observatory in Pacifier.
19:54You're joking.
19:55No, I'm not.
19:56But only the cleverest students go to the observatory.
19:58Exactly.
19:59I can't believe it.
20:00You only better her up and believe it because the shuttle is perfect.
20:02I can't believe it.
20:03Congratulations.
20:06Nina, did you have a good day?
20:08Do anything interesting?
20:10No.
20:12I went to see the new doctor.
20:14Any good?
20:15Well, I'm going back.
20:16I cried all the way through it, of course, but I do feel a bit better now.
20:19I'm beginning to think that there could be life after Bob after all.
20:23No.
20:25You ought to think about going, Melody.
20:28I'm fine, thanks.
20:36But it's not dog shop this evening.
20:42How do you tell me something else you say?
20:45Yeah.
20:46Where do I start?
20:47I wanted to be a journalist ever since I was a tiny girl.
20:50Excuse me.
20:52Rellan?
20:53Your earth call, Professor.
20:55Oh, yes.
20:56Put it through, will you?
20:57Excuse me.
20:58Of course.
20:59I don't want the waiters to hear.
21:04Good evening, Charles.
21:08Evening, Charles.
21:15Rellan to Peter Landersman.
21:18Why haven't you got a fixed date for the signing?
21:21It is absolutely vital that we get that money through as soon as possible.
21:24I can't tell you anymore, but it's very serious.
21:26Call me as soon as you know.
21:35I didn't know you were coming down.
21:37Elliot invited me.
21:38How are you getting on not telling her anything?
21:41Mercedes.
21:42Hmm?
21:42Thank you for keeping her out of mischief this afternoon.
21:45Oh, you don't have to thank me, Charles.
21:47I want to, I'm grateful.
21:48No, I wasn't doing it for you.
21:50I was doing it because I care about tedious.
21:54I'll see you later, then.
21:55Okay.
21:56How about a little Ivner first?
21:58Bucks Fizz, Giroil, or just a plain old bottle of bubbly?
22:01Oh, that'd be nice.
22:04Was it an important call?
22:06No, not really.
22:07Sorry about that.
22:08Now then, where were we?
22:11You were just going to tell me the true story of the strip miners, the Molybdenum and Titillus 10.
22:17Oh, that's funny.
22:18I thought I was going to hear all about your kindergarten in Hamburg.
22:21How do you know I come from Hamburg?
22:23I'm interested.
22:25Most of the other reporters we've had up here have been men.
22:27Not very attractive ones either.
22:30Look at him.
22:31Yeah, a waste of time, really.
22:33Why doesn't he just put arsenic in her oysters?
22:35I suppose he hasn't thought of that.
22:36Oh, no, no, no.
22:37He prefers it like this.
22:38He likes to use his personality.
22:40Arsenic a bit quicker.
22:41In most careers, there's a chance.
22:45Grab that chance, he can make all the difference.
22:48And you were my chance.
22:50No one knows more about dealers than I do.
22:53No one's closer to the nuts and bolts of what's going on.
22:56But you don't tell me anything.
22:59Trust me.
23:00Wait a few more days, and I'll give you a story that will knock everything else off the headlines.
23:05Any closer, he'll impale himself on a kebab.
23:10Will you trust me?
23:12Will he wait till I give you the whole story?
23:15Yes.
23:19I'm not drunk.
23:35I'm not drunk.
24:05I'm not drunk.
