00:08Listen, I've been writing for Essence magazine as their hardscope astrologer columnist in the back of the magazine for over six or seven years now.
00:16And it's been a blast. I would love to share with you what 2021 has to offer astrologically speaking.
00:24You ready? I've entitled this year, the year mama came to clean things up.
00:29It's the year mama came to clean things up because we are being inundated with a huge surge of feminine energy, feminine energy that allows us to be receptive, nurturing, nourishing, that allows us to make decisive decisions about where we want to go.
00:47With the mother holding her hand or holding our hand and allowing us to move forward into a new day after the destruction of 2020, we also are able to come together in groups of humanity.
01:04The age of Aquarius is saying just that. So as mama is holding our hands, we are plowing through and inviting the new age of Aquarius in which humanity and groups and technology and spirituality will be the way.
01:19Understand this. We are plowing through to build a new space and a new time for our children.
01:27The old is no longer here and the normal will never, ever return. We are building something new.
01:34It's exciting, sometimes stressful, but it's definitely necessary if we want to survive in the light of all things that are good and true to ourselves, to our God and to the universe.
01:46Let me say this. It is also the year of the ox.
01:51The ox, according to Chinese horoscope, is the formidable animal that allows us to be practical and to work really, really hard in what it is that we need.
02:02This is that time, y'all. So as we're working hard, as we're plowing forward into the age of Aquarius, where groups and people and technology is important,
02:12as mama is grabbing our hands, things can shake up this year.
02:16Let me talk about the shakeups. There are four eclipses that are happening.
02:21We usually have about three or four eclipses throughout a year.
02:25The more eclipses, the bigger the change. Eclipses means change.
02:30It's almost indicative of pulling the rug out from underneath your feet when it's time to move.
02:35The universe knows when we get a little complacent. The universe knows when we start to procrastinate, when fear comes over us.
02:42So eclipses are just there to wipe us clean, or I should say change, and allows us to pivot where we stand.
02:49May 26 is our first lunar full moon eclipse.
02:53It is the culmination of things, the closing of things, the finishing of all the adventurous things that you've had in the past,
03:03the closing of all the education that you thought was true for you, the closing of all the excitement that you once surrounded yourself with
03:14that no longer applies to where you're going. We need to shut that down.
03:18And sometimes that happens really quickly, like you lose a job or you lose a boyfriend or a girlfriend.
03:25But know this, the universe is always looking out for your best interests.
03:29On June 10th, we have a solar new moon eclipse in Gemini. That's a big deal.
03:35Gemini energy represents information. Gemini energy represents high socialization.
03:42Even though we can't touch and get close to one another in certain states here in the United States,
03:47it actually allows us to find new ways in which we can socialize, new ways in which we can get together.
03:56Gemini energy says, take the resources, take the resources you have, look for new resources to build your new tomorrow.
04:04On November 19th, there's a lunar full moon eclipse in Taurus. This is a big deal as well.
04:11The last eclipse of 2021 is December 4th, a solar new moon eclipse in Sagittarius.
04:17All the ideas that you dropped off, I'm sorry, on May 26th, on December 4th, the new moon allows you to bring new ideas,
04:25new perspective, new explorations, new ways in being honest, not with just everyone else, but with yourself.
04:34This is your life.
04:352021 is the beginning of something so glorious and grand if you allow it to be true.
04:42Stay out of the way of distractions and remember that the mother will always take care of you.
