00:00Citizens were frustrated, to say the least, by being trapped on the ferry in Tobago for some long, long, long hours.
00:09And that should not have happened.
00:10It seems Murphy's Law has taken up residence at the port lately.
00:15Whatever could go wrong, unfortunately, has.
00:19Mr. Augustine said an even more worrying factor is the hosting of the National Medium Panorama Finals in Tobago on Sunday, as there are concerns.
00:30Now, NITCO's technical teams are working around the clock to assess, rather, the impact and to ensure our seabridge remains reliable.
00:41One of the most disappointing consequences of these logistical hurdles is the challenge to hosting the Medium Panorama Finals in Tobago.
00:50So discussions are well underway between Pantrimbego, NITCO, the port, and so forth.
00:56And I'm sure you would hear from Pantrimbego soon.
00:58I know how much our Pan community and culture lovers, the THA itself, have been preparing to host this staple event on home soil.
01:08So it is, indeed, frustrating.
01:11Mr. Augustine said the THA remains committed to transparency.
01:15And Minister John, who has been very kind to us, to get these repairs done expeditiously, so we can return to normalcy.
01:22We are committed to transparency, and NITCO, the Ministry, Pantrimbego, THA, and all other agencies will provide further updates as soon as full assessments are in.
