00:06The comic book icon died early Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
00:11Actors, directors, and more took to social media on Monday to pay tribute to Lee, who
00:16was known for giving Marvel superheroes personalities in addition to their power.
00:21He wrote, art-directed, and edited most of Marvel's series and newspaper strips.
00:25He also wrote a monthly comics column, Stan's Soapbox, which always ended with his signature
00:30phrase, Excelsior.
00:32Disney CEO Bob Iger paid tribute, saying,
00:48Marvel's Kevin Feige also praised Lee's legacy in a tribute.
00:52He said,
00:55Stan leaves an extraordinary legacy that will outlive us all.

01:29The X-Men's very own Hugh Jackman tweeted a photo of himself with Lee, saying,

01:35Stan was a pioneering force in the superhero universe.
01:38I'm proud to have been a small part of his legacy and to have helped bring one of his characters to life.
01:44Tom Holland, who plays the onscreen version of Spider-Man, a character created by Lee, posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, writing,
