00:05Right off the bat, this car was one of the stars of the show for me, simply-

00:10Because of the sheer amount of tech that's packed into it, and today we'll be taking a look at some of the stand-

00:15Out tech features that make this car truly a next-generation experience.

00:19The iX-

00:20The battery will include up to 400 miles of range, we'll do 0-60 in just 4.6.

00:257 seconds, and you can rapid charge the battery from 10 to 80% in just 20-

00:30minutes using a DC fast charger, which is blazing fast.

00:33The new 6th generation battery will-

00:35We'll also have support for bi-directional charging, which allows you to transfer power to another vehicle-

00:40or even power your home when paired with the optional BMW wallbox professional.

01:27Imw Intelligent Assistant is basically a co-driver that learns your driving style and routines

01:32over time, so for example, it can offer suggestions based on the typical routes you drive, and

01:36you can even customize it.

01:37It can also customize presets for things like seat warmers or driving modes for whatever

01:40mood you're in.

01:41And at the heart of it all is a-

01:42There's a central computing unit called the Heart of Joy, which acts as a centerpiece

01:45for the drive system in-

01:47and dynamics, and helps make the everyday driving experience for things like handling

01:51and braking-

01:52much more responsive.

01:53The Heart of Joy is able to process vehicle information and sensor data-

01:57in milliseconds, which is up to 10 times faster than previous systems, but all of this really

02:01only begins-

02:02to scratch the surface of what the new BMW iX3 can do, and if one thing is for certain-
