00:07It's time for the rundown on your weather.
00:09Let's begin with tonight.
00:10Tonight will be fair and breezy with some showers expected.
00:13We have minimum temperatures at 22 degrees in Trinidad
00:16and a bit higher in Tobago at 24 degrees.
00:20And those same fair and breezy conditions will continue tomorrow
00:24and will be interrupted intermittently by isolated light to moderate showers
00:29near hilly and southern areas.
00:31So at this point, you already know what to walk with.
00:35Maximum temperatures are expected at 31 degrees in Trinidad
00:37and 30 degrees in Tobago.
00:40Now, I don't know which one of you keeps singing off-key,
00:43bringing more rain ahead in our two-day forecast.
00:46On Thursday, conditions will be partly cloudy at times from early afternoon
00:50with isolated light to moderate showers continuing into nightfall.
00:54We have maximum temperatures at 31 degrees in Trinidad
00:57and 30 degrees in Tobago, and that's on Thursday.
01:00And Friday will be the same, but this time with showers favoring
01:04but not confined to Tobago.
01:07Maximum temperatures will get down to 29 degrees in both islands.
01:12Remember, the Met Office did forecast a wetter-than-usual first half of the dry season.
01:17Now, let's check in on our sun times.
01:19In Trinidad, sun rises at 6.29 and it will set at 6.08.
01:23Over in Tobago, sun rises at 6.26 and it will set at 6.03.
01:29And this is what our seas are looking like tomorrow.
01:32Seas will be moderate for waves 2 meters to 2.5 meters in open waters
01:36and 1 meter to 1.5 meters in sheltered areas.
01:40It is now time for our Thai Times.
01:57Now to some international news.
01:59A 2.5-mile section of the cliff has collapsed on the Italian island of Sicily
02:04after it was pummeled by wind and rain brought by Storm Harry last week.
02:09More than 1,000 residents have been evacuated from their homes.
02:14There have been reports of deaths or injuries,
02:16but aerial footage shows numerous buildings and vehicles destroyed.
02:20The landslide occurred on Sunday,
02:22with parts of the cliff continuing to crumble on Monday.
02:26And over in the U.S., at least 42 deaths have been attributed to storm nationwide.
02:32More than 500,000 customers without power,
02:3546 child carbon monoxide exposure cases reported due to families
02:40trying to heat their homes during power outages.
02:43And American Airlines indicated that this was the most disruptive storm
02:47in the airline's 100-year history,
02:50as more than 9,000 flights were canceled.
