2025 Carifta gold medallist Keneisha Shelbourne got the start she was looking for to her season.
The Long Jumper, competing at the Power in the Field competition last Saturday was in good touch as won the women's long jump and put in good scores at in the women's triple jump. She indicated that she performed close to her personal best in her season opener, in a new division.

00:07The long jumper competing at the Power in the Field competition last Saturday was in good touch as she won the women's long jump and put in good scores in the women's triple jump.
00:16She indicated that she performed close to her personal best in her season opener in a new division.
00:22Today I find it was great. So this was my season opener. I was able to achieve close to my babies in both long and triple from short approach. So I believe this season would be great.
00:40Okay. What are your objectives for this season?
00:42My objectives. So this season, this is my first year as under the category women. So I'm going to go through the season and let's have fun. There's whole faith in gold and there's trust in the spaces in the field.
00:55What competitions are you targeting?
00:58For this year I'm aiming for the senior teams. So Commonwealth, CAC, NACA Conner 23, Hap Hallam. So these are games that I'm aiming for.
01:07The standard, not far off from my babies. So I just want to be able to just maintain the distance and just to butter and just jump greater.
