00:00The Oscar-winning filmmakers behind Everything, Everywhere, All at Once
00:03have set a course for a galaxy far, far away.
00:06Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert,
00:10known together as Daniels, are working on the Star Wars series
00:13Skeleton Crew coming to Disney+.
00:15The show starring Jude Law began filming over the summer and wrapped in recent months.
00:19But as with all things Star Wars, the show has been shrouded in secrecy.
00:23The Daniels directed one episode of Skeleton Crew.
00:26Lucasfilm could not be reached for comment on the story.
00:28The show hails from John Watts, the director of Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy,
00:33who approached the duo before Everything, Everywhere, All at Once opened,
00:36with the pair filming their episode last year.
00:39After news of their involvement broke, Kwan wrote in an Instagram story,
00:42We love John, we love Star Wars, love learning new tech,
00:46we love meeting new cast and crew, and we needed the days to keep our health care.
00:50So it was an easy yes.
00:51Daniels took home Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Picture
00:55at the Oscars earlier this month for Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
00:58The film also won Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Editing.
