00:00He's an actor.
00:02He's a writer.
00:04He's a producer.
00:06Is it me?
00:07It's not you, Donnie.
00:08No, no, no, no.
00:08I thought you were going to ask if it was Leonardo DiCaprio.
00:11It's not Leonardo DiCaprio either.
00:12I'm a couple of those things.
00:14You know his name.
00:17It's still not you.
00:20He is literally buying up all of America right now.
00:26We're talking about Taylor Sheridan.
00:27Okay, so he may not be gobbling up all of America, but he is one of the largest landowners in the country.
00:35Taylor Sheridan owns 267,000 acres.
00:41Yeah, a few years ago, he invested in a group that bought the Four Sixes Ranch.
00:47Right.
00:47Right, which is located in the Texas Panhandle.
00:50That sits on more than 260,000 acres just northwest of Fort Worth.
00:54And he and his group purchased it for a whopping $320 million back in 2022.
01:00So, by the way, just so you're putting it in perspective, 260,000 acres is about 400 square miles.
01:07Wow.
01:08So it's about a fifth the size of Rhode Island.
01:11Oh, my gosh.
01:12He also owns the Bosque Ranch in northern Texas in Weatherford.
01:16He purchased that ranch for $264 million back in 2013.
01:20That's only 600 acres.
01:22So isn't that crazy?
01:23Wow.
01:23And that serves as his family home because, of course.
01:27We all need 600 acres, yeah.
01:29Sheridan also utilizes the ranch for his film and TV productions, rodeo competitions.
01:34And he started doing this big festival on his property as well, which was pretty fun.
01:41Jackson Dean performed at that last year.
01:43So cool.
01:44Yeah.
01:44So he just recently bought 179 more acres up in Wyoming.
01:51That was listed at just under $5 million.
01:53So, I mean, I don't know what he plans on doing with that, but it seems like a joke.
01:57Well, it's kind of genius when you really think about it because using these places to film as well,
02:02like tax write-offs, saving money on booking ranches.
02:07Yeah.
02:08It's so smart.
02:09And as a fan, Andy, I know you are too, of like all of his shows.
02:12You can kind of see, you know, there's a new spinoff of the Four Sixes that's going to be coming.
02:17And he clearly is a landowner there.
02:19And you're like, yep, he owns that.
02:21Yep, that's probably his cattle.
02:22That's probably his horses in the shows.
02:24And I know his new show, The Madison, which I don't think has dropped yet,
02:27but that's the one with like Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.
02:32I keep forgetting about that one because there's so many spinoffs that are going on.
02:36That one comes out pretty soon.
02:38Okay.
02:38And that, I feel like they were filming in Wyoming,
02:42which would make sense if he just bought this large 179-acre property in Wyoming.
02:48Could you imagine that conversation?
02:49He goes, can we film here?
02:50And they're like, yeah, sure, it'll be this much money.
02:53He goes, well, how much to buy the whole thing?
02:54Yeah, I'm just going to buy it.
02:57Wow.
02:57Taylor Sheridan, a legend.
