00:50you know how you met the other individuals of the group and and you know um y'all beginnings well
00:55absolutely you know we're essentially family me and lazy bones brothers wishes my cousin um busy and
01:02wish a long lifelong friends it's been a thing that just from the childhood all the way up from
01:09the band-aid boys to end up bone enterprise um all the way to uh uh bone thugs and harmony
01:15um meeting
01:16easy e in la and um and uh in cleveland actually we called them in la it's been a long
01:22lifelong
01:22situation over 33 plus years in the game now and uh me and the fellas has been on a a
01:28long mission
01:29brother we just had the uh the hollywood walker fame ceremony receiving our star yeah congratulations
01:34on that man thank you fam i appreciate that and uh it's been a it's been a um a long
01:39journey brother
01:40we still kicking up dust we got mo thug in the building we got btnh records artists in the building

01:45just signed them today uh snl and uh ot um on everything so this is what bone thugs and harmony
01:52do man we end with the um the the old we got the old the throwbacks we got the throwbacks

01:59the new we end with the new as well i got a little bit everything for everybody man uh talk

02:04hollywood star what did that mean to you and the other group members man how what was that moment like
02:07getting that hollywood star which also you know well deserved man absolutely it was it was it was a
02:13milestone it was it was it was a fabulous milestone it's a beautiful blessing to receive your flowers
02:19in such a magnanimous and uh a magnanimous way it was it was amazing um the love that came from
02:26the
02:26city uh the thousands of people that flew out to attend it was just you can't you can't make it

02:32it's like a fairy tale picture perfect uh story type situation and me and the brothers work hard we're
02:38still working hard at it we got a boot uh tour coming up with wu-tang at the end of
02:42august going
02:43through september yeah and we're just kicking up dust uh um the uh the rock and roll hall of famous
02:48next and got a biopic and working on memoir right now it's a lot going on working on harmony we
02:54got
02:54a few records on the shelf we released a few singles earlier this like earlier in the year last
02:59year we just dropped the singles at a time right now but we do plan on putting together a full
03:03body of
03:04work um um essentially but that whole situation man is from the trenches to the stars man from
03:10cleveland to hollywood man the fact that they were able to bless us with such an accolade um you can't
03:16make it you can't make this up nice so man tell people about yourself man for people who don't know
03:21about sloan bone sloan bone man mo thugs man my brothers flesh and bone lazy bone

03:40like hooking up with the with the cleveland guys because that's a little bit of different wave man
03:44you know what i'm saying they're all styling music but you seem to connect with them very well so what
03:48was that like yeah so i actually when i met lay it was like 98 in vegas so i really
03:55didn't connect
03:57like like actually in la but i met lazy in vegas oh okay and we connected and we actually never

04:04talked about music we just all was kicking that was my brother off the rip got you even know i
04:09rapped until about two years later and i was just playing some music he was like who was that i'm

04:13that's me he's like what he's like oh yeah they never told me that because our relationship was
04:17better it was it was more authentic than here play my cd i'm i rap and i do what our
04:22relationship
04:23wasn't that so that's why we that tight today still because our wasn't built on i need you for
04:29something i'm trying to use it it wasn't that it was ours ours was authentic from we was just brothers
04:35homies off the rip so we were it was never oh i do i rap i rap it was like
04:40you my dog we cool we kick
04:41we kick it we never even talked about it so we heard that so that's how i connected with with

04:46and then flesh was locked up he was you know what i mean and then i just and they embraced
04:52me like
04:52brother you know what i mean all my cleveland partners i was going on tour ever since then
04:56doing records and going to cleveland and hanging with rest in peace mom pete you know what i mean
05:00she took me in as a son and was like you know my mom was rest in peace already so

05:06my son you with us you good so i was like you know i've been family it's my family man

05:11that brotherhood mean to you man for them to embrace you like that out the gate um it's great
05:16because you see like embrace you for not what you can do for who you are though you know i

05:43about it first time you got in the studio with them man what was that energy like oh it was

05:53time rapper but i know i could adjust to any time anything i need to do so when i got

07:50same uh i i listen to a lot of old school my mom you know sundays and whatnot and then
07:55you can go to a
07:57family reunion then who have not like it hey yo facts facts facts yeah yeah yeah right if you're not
08:03playing them at the same time yeah yeah it's bone right right flex i'm gonna get back i'm come back
08:09to y'all in the second place let me get back to you man um you spoke about a biopic
08:13coming yeah yeah we
08:15got we got a few um irons in the fire we've been uh speaking up on when is this bone
08:20movie coming
08:21whether it's going to be a netflix series a hulu series or just a flat-out
08:25big silver screen worldwide release like that um i'm hoping for the biopic um bone thugs uh
08:32story um is is this long overdue to be told and i think it still might be too early to
08:39tell
08:39the bone thug story so because you don't know what's uh next for a bone it's just always something
08:44coming out of the hat not then uh uh coming out into the fold and uh happening real big for
08:50bone thugs and harmony so we still might have a a couple of years before pop off but in the
08:55meantime um i'm gonna release a uh a memoir a flesh and bone uh on bone thugs and harmony
09:04story told from the lens and the pov the uh the point of view from flesh and bone himself because
09:10i don't think nobody can tell the bone thug story better and as an articulate and inadequate and as
09:16me you feel what i'm saying so i'm writing this book it's an amazing i'm halfway through it and uh
09:21i can't i can't wait for what's done and for it to be released so i can be dubbed not
09:26just to be
09:26dubbed and off an official author you feel me and uh it's like and that's another thing that you know
09:34understanding that we're handy with the pen and savvy with words period i'm finding out that i got
09:40other hidden gems i never knew that i could really really write as extensive as i'm writing as a as
09:47author right now and this book is going to be a favorite for many and i can't wait and i
09:51think
09:51it's going to be the segue into the biopic actually nice why in your opinion do you feel like it's
09:57time
09:57to write that memoir and show you tell the world your side of being in bone thugs and harmony why

10:02you feel like right now was the time for that well you know i and i do believe um um
10:06and the rest the
10:07rest of the brothers definitely have a strong point of view as well and and and and uh as far
10:13as uh
10:13uh their portion of the story and uh but me flesh and bone is big bro it isn't it's a
10:20lot that goes
10:20into it the timing is right right now in in this day of age because you know first of all
10:25it's 30
10:25over 30 years plus and still going strong the accolades keep coming and this is why i say it's still
10:32like you never know what's gonna you never know what's gonna uh end up happening with bone thugs and
10:37harmony as far as the new music the tours it's just so the the the next two years is just
10:43booked up with with festivals and tours and it's like and and it's just can't stop won't stop so i
10:49think now more than ever it's definitely getting ready to pop off but this is the this is the time
10:56this is the day and age where you know you got the tupac movies you got the nwa movies you
11:01got all
11:01these new got a movie coming yeah yeah everybody you know so so you know i think bone thugs is
11:06getting
11:06ready to tip the scale on them and everything and uh be one of the greatest hip-hop stories ever
11:11told
11:11though i didn't know no no no shots down to all of the rest of the homies and everything but
11:15you
11:15know when bone thug kicked down the door and changed the game and changed the sound forever
11:20the story is just just like i say it's like a fairy tale type situation everybody got great stories
11:26but none like bone thugs in harmony facts facts i'm gonna ask y'all both a question man about the
11:31about the young guys right here what was it about them that you was like because y'all just started
11:35this label correct the the label was brand new okay so yeah i guess a two-parter what made y
11:40'all
11:40want to start a label after so many years and then what was it about was it how y'all
11:44said snl right
11:46okay yeah what was it about them um being a group from detroit first of all you don't really see
11:50too
11:50many groups anyway that's not a thing in hip-hop for real for you see a little bit but not
11:55for
11:55real i want to see a lot of collabs you see a lot of collabs but ain't a group thing
11:58so what was it
12:00about them that y'all was like okay so so so first of all i want to say so bone
12:04thugs and harmony
12:05came through the door and brought the whole hood with them no sooner than we got signed and put on
12:10by easy e we immediately by after creeping on the come up we had the whole hood and everybody that
12:16we were rapping with in cleveland we put them on immediately too with the mo thug records they call
12:22them the original mo thugs so we continued the process we've never stopped signing artists we never
12:27stopped discovering new talent and putting them in position to do what they got to do fast forward
12:33to the day you got sloan bone you got that and um you got uh a whole like the harmony
12:39house
12:39structured from up under lazy bones wing or whatnot you got the the life entertainment up under crazy
12:45bones wing and you got the seven signs up under um busy bones wing and uh so so it's it's
12:51a lot
12:52of talent in detroit these dudes when you see them when you see them rock it just like they when
12:56when you see cats like that that that that claim it for they own that claim it's like it's it's
13:03a
13:03no-brainer ot ricky it's a no-brainer snl is a no-brainer you feel what i'm saying i like
13:07to sit
13:08back i'm in a situation as not just a big bro or ceo or anything like that but i look
13:13back and i always
13:14can't wait to see what these dudes are going to do next with what i'm going to hear from them
13:19next and
13:19you know how they're going to put on next you feel what i'm saying so and uh and that's my
13:24job as
13:25someone that's out here not just a pioneer or someone that can and assist somebody else and
13:30helping them get to where they got to go but these dudes is hot too hot to trot and so
13:35are many others
13:36in detroit that we have up under our wing you feel what i'm saying so nice you know you got
13:40i tip my
13:41hat off to them the same thing when they when they discovered sloan and first heard you know him doing
13:46his thing you feel what i'm saying it's long you know never looked back since you know so and and
13:52sloan running circles around him out there big time and so are these youngsters get ready to run
13:57circles around cats and big in the real way that there's a lot going on in detroit motor city's real
14:02big man you feel what i'm saying so when it comes to when it comes to talent undiscoverable talent so
14:08we got our eyes on detroit in a major way man yeah yeah y'all right next door so glad
14:13y'all is doing
14:14that man go absolutely i mean yes it's a lot of dope artists out of detroit you know what i
14:19mean
14:20and but when i met drama the homie drama years ago we was coming we was on tour doing an
14:28after
14:28part we didn't have an after party we was on the bus it was like what we gonna do when
14:31we get to
14:31detroit so i just met him like probably like three months prior i was like damn i know where the
14:36homie
14:37let me call drama i'm gonna do we on the tour bus like i need a party i called him
14:41he like boom we
14:42do an after party so our relationship started with the homie drama so with that being said when
14:47i was like detroit we gonna mess with him and i told lay i said hey man we make a
14:52detroit mo thugs
14:54and i said i'm messing with him and it was they he had artists all the time he was an
14:59artist but
15:00he always had talent and he had so much talent under his wing it was like so many of them
15:05it was like
15:06we got this person this person this person this person so when flesh and bones started the label
15:12we didn't have to go far to look for talent we well we already had it you know what i
15:16mean because
15:17we had started we had started pipeline network but we already had the tape was already there it was
15:23just a matter of getting the paperwork together and getting everything together and and now pushing
15:27them you know what i mean we just took a minute because we touring we doing our own thing so
15:32the
15:32time the timing came right on time so now it's like all right we cool put our put the homies
15:39on we
15:39had to go far you know what i mean like you said we had what smoky from chicago you got
15:44a sleepy them
15:46from the south you got your boy city boy uh california cali you know california you got all over with
15:53him yeah that's nice we got people we got a lg mag in denver yeah we got we got yeah

16:00baltimore it's a it's a lot of talent and guess we had to go far been there we just we

16:46made y'all decide to be a group in a like i said man it's not a lot of groups

19:19real nice and then whether he go on the uh beat or i go on the beat first i'm gonna
19:25i'm gonna follow up
19:26with him or he gonna follow up you know what i'm saying so we gonna literally like double dutch oh

21:08deliver we're gonna make this happen um 36 chamber tour i think we're coming through uh michigan
21:14somewhere so yeah i saw y'all name on our yeah we was talking about that yeah we play y

21:18come on now come on now detroit michigan listen uh y'all gotta come on show out on this uh
21:23this uh
21:23this last time you're gonna see wu-tang out there so they claim um but uh right they said it
21:31last year
21:32like i said like this is it yeah yeah oh this the final one and the funny thing is i
21:36had a chance to
21:37you know talk to risen he was like yeah this is the last time you'll get all 10 of us
21:40but i had a you know they came back and said he doing it with bone though so i'm like

22:52working with them and then i know method man real well that's my dog nice you know i mean so

23:37and keep getting the accolades because by next year it's gonna be the rock and roll hall of fame
23:41it's gonna be something bigger it's definitely it's right you'll tour with the beatles or something

24:34ready to host our very own um bone thugs and harmony um festival um um coming up uh in october
24:42october 9th
24:43and 10th we're gonna host it right here in michigan uh dope uh-huh yes so the bud smokers only
24:50oh that's even better so that's my group yeah yeah so so so for the cannabis vendors and everybody
