Starley America has added two new millionaires to its roster for 2026.
00:12
First Mission is by Starley's own Street Sense and Grade 1 winner Highland
00:17
Falls is a son of Kerlin. Both will stand for $10,000 in their debut season.
00:21
When I look at First Mission he is all class and that is something that is
00:27
synonymous with the Street Sense sire line. He was dangerous. Typical Street Sense,
00:31
two turns, but he had front-end speed and could carry it. First Mission showed his
00:37
talent right from the get-go. He ran an excellent second, beaten half a length on
00:41
debut by Bishop's Bay. He came back in his second start. One is made in a fairgrounds
00:46
by six lengths and then his third start he came to Keeneland in the Grade 3
00:50
Lexington Stakes. Defeating Grade 1 winner Arabian Lion, he rounded out his
00:55
three-year-old campaign with an excellent second beating a nose in the Grade 2
00:59
Clark against his elders. And then his marquee win as a four-year-old came in
01:03
the Grade 2 Ali Sheba which he won by four lengths and then coming back as a
01:06
five-year-old his big win came in the million dollar Grade 2 Oaklawn
01:10
Handicap. He earned his career-high 109 buyer that day and then followed that
01:15
with an excellent third in the Grade 1 Stephen Foster behind Top Horse's Mine
01:20
Frame and Sierra Leone. He has his own brand of Street Sense. He's out of a
01:24
Medaglia d'Oro Mare. Her name is Allude. She's actually bred on the same cross as
01:29
Rachel Alexandra which I love. And the second dam is Argentine Champion
01:33
three-year-old filly Forti Marchanta. So a really strong female family but he is
01:38
just a beautiful horse. Love his shape. He's got great movement. Just walks like a
01:43
cat. One of the areas that he has an edge over his paternal barn mates Maxfield and
01:49
Speaker's Corner in that first mission is free of AP Indy which is Street Sense's
01:54
best cross. Highland Falls. What an amazing pedigree on this stallion. You know his
02:02
dam round pond. Awesome again Mayor. We paid 5.4 million for her back in the day at
02:08
Keeneland November. She's a two-time Grade 1 winner. She's produced Grade 1
02:11
winner is Long River. Obviously her last fall Highland Falls is a Grade 1 winner
02:15
and then Highland Falls half-sister Tyburn Brooke is the dam of fellow barn
02:20
mates Speaker's Corner. So Highland Falls he broke his maiden on debut going a mile
02:25
at Ellis. Came back two starts later going a mile on a 16th in his allowance at
02:30
Churchill. Over nine furlongs won the Grade 3 Blaine in very tenacious fashion but
02:36
really his marquee win was in the Grade 1 Jockey Club as a four-year-old. Very
02:40
impressive win. He's a two-turn horse but he had speed and he put the race to
02:45
Arthur's Ride and that was the winning of the race.
02:47
In the second in Highland Falls. What an accomplishment for Flavian Pratt as he wins another one.
02:53
2025 as a five-year-old was in probably one of the hottest Whitney's we've seen for
02:57
some time. That race was absolutely loaded with the likes of Sierra Leone,
03:02
quite a barrier of fierceness. He ran an excellent race for about three strides. I thought he was
03:07
going to win. That really showed what he could do over nine furlongs. Highland Falls is an
03:12
absolutely gorgeous horse physically. He's very racy. Just a really attractive profile. He's got
03:17
good leg. He's correct. What I love about him is the length of his hip. I think it's going to prove
03:22
very, very commercial. Pedigree wise he's an easy horse to breed to. Physically he will fit most mares.
03:27
Both horses represent tremendous value. We price them both at 10,000 to make them a no-brainer for breeders.
03:34
Really top horsemen that have been to see them both. They just really, really love them physically.
03:40
So I think that bodes well for their future.
