This week's fastest horse of the week was no surprise. Knightsbridge won his third consecutive Grade III stakes for trainer Bill Mott in Saturday's Gulfstream Park Mile, winning by 11 1/4 lengths under Junior Alvarado. The fastest horse of the week is sponsored by WinStar, home to Heartland, whose first foals are arriving now.

00:00The Fastest Horse of the Week is brought to you by the Fast Sires at Windstar Farm.
00:04This week, let's talk about Heartland, a son of Justify and a half-brother to Classic Empire
00:10who is standing his second season at Stud.
00:13We all know how gorgeous Justify was.
00:15Heartland looks a lot like his sire, and his first foals are proving to be a good-looking bunch, too,
00:21over at Windstar.
00:22They like to say they're all heart.
00:25And here are a couple, a Windstar-bred filly out of Cram, born on January 22nd.
00:31And this colt, owned by the China Horse Club, out of Tactical Joke, who was born on the very same
00:38day.
00:39Heartland stands at Windstar for a fee of just $10,000.
00:45Knightsbridge, of course, was the Fastest Horse of the Week.
00:47His 112 buyer speed figure, a full 10 points faster than Magnitude got, winning the Razorback Handicap.
00:54The buyer figure for Knightsbridge also was the fastest since his good-off and stable mate, Sovereignty.
00:59Got a 115 in his 10-length romp in the Traverse States, which happens to be the last time we've
01:04seen Sovereignty race.
01:05So from Jan 1, 2025 to present, the fastest buyers go like this.
01:11Sovereignty 115, Knightsbridge 112.
01:13Then there's a quartet at 111.
01:16Forever Young and Sierra Leone in the Breeders' Cup Classic, Ways and Means, and Bookum Dano.
01:22I added this to the list just so we could work Bookum Dano into the podcast.
