A Point Fortin family of six is tonight pleading for help to rebuild their home after it collapsed on New Year's Day.

The family was preparing lunch when loud noises were followed by a tumbling of the entire structure.

Two young children narrowly escaped serious injury, as the family scampered out of the house.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh visited the Gerald Street home today and tells us more.
