00:01The Colombian City of Cali hosts an event to promote the culture of the country's Pacific region.

00:06The initiative is organized by the Black Roots Cultural Foundation

00:10and is held at Plaza de San Francisco in front of the Cauca Valley Government Building.

00:15The program will offer an insight into the traditions of the Pacific Coast

00:19with samples of squeezing and traditional drinks, handicraft sales,

00:23African beauty services and paintings inspired by the coast.

00:27The spiritual component will be presented with an encultured mass

00:32which integrates faith with local customs.

00:35In addition, there will be a special musical session with piano records

00:39that will review the sounds of the region since the 1960s,

00:42featuring also folkloric groups from Valle del Cauca.
