00:07you out on this journey with me. So completely surrounded by nature I decided to take myself on

00:17a bush holiday of sorts and yeah just come out here go on a few hikes go experience nature for

00:26a few days and yeah just get back to the business. So today I want to talk to you guys about the top

00:34decentralized applications for Mac and PC for this year 2022 and we obviously do all much of the

00:47popularities of NFTs and DeFi and just dApps in general to chains like Ethereum even though they

01:00have so many limitations in terms of scalability and things of that nature for now it has kind of

01:09propelled the experimentation around decentralized applications and building dApps and things like

01:17that. So today I just want to really just focus on the top decentralized applications for 2022 that

01:24you can use both on your PC and your Mac. Give us a like and a subscribe truly appreciate it and don't

01:36if you want to learn more about real world asset tokenization on the blockchain. So the number one

01:43dApp on our list today is PancakeSwap which is on the Binance Smart Chain. So this is a browser-based

01:51decentralized exchange platform that facilitates the swapping of BEP20 tokens at ultra low prices and

02:00high speeds thanks to the efficiency of the BNB chain on which the platform actually operates.

02:06So PancakeSwap is powered by an automated market maker or an AMM algorithm that leverages liquidity

02:13pools which opens up by yield farming opportunities for users who want to make money whilst also

02:21supporting the platform. So anyone can effectively yield farm rewards by supplying assets to existing

02:28liquidity pools or even by creating their own liquidity pools or by even creating money markets

02:38that have low slippage for DEX traders. So the DEX ecosystem itself has its own native utility token

02:47called CAKE which can be staked and you can earn rewards on it. So with the help of Binance Bridge

02:53even holders of Ethereum based tokens can also wrap their digital assets to trade or provide liquidity to PancakeSwap

03:01which recorded some nearly 3 million active users with volume exceeding 10 billion within its smart contracts

03:11between mid-March and April 2022 alone. And while PancakeSwap has gotten some flack of course for the low quality

03:20of some of the projects that have led to different rug pulls and hacks. The DEX itself, I mean the DEX itself

03:28actually works as it should and it's cheap, it's fast, it's very versatile and all essential requirements

03:38that you need for a top adapt are basically incorporated in PancakeSwap. So we've got that one on the list.

03:47The next one would say is OpenSea. Again another that's been kind of surrounded in a lot of controversy

03:54lately with sort of insider trading with all kinds of things going on as far as

04:03fake assets being sold and sort of scams going on on OpenSea.

04:09But again you know it's one of the top decentralized applications which is pretty much a peer-to-peer marketplace

04:16for NFTs that has almost single-handedly created the digital collectible industry in terms of just doing

04:25mad volumes. And OpenSea actually allows users to purchase, sell and also trade digital assets

04:30products of different types and it supports NFTs. So non-fungible tokens and that create an economy

04:38essentially enabling users to mint their own collections with attractive features as well like

04:46lazy minting, NFT bundles and various types of auctions and the ability to actually create user-designed

04:57storefronts as well as quite amazing for specific types of NFTs.

05:01Minters are also given the ability to set their own fees which is a good feature of this platform.

05:09OpenSea boasts also a diverse set of NFT offerings such as music, digital artworks, domain names, utility

05:17assets, in-game assets and you know it's quite a popular platform.

05:23supports several blockchains including Ethereum, Polygon, Clayton and Solana and you know it has recorded

05:31more than 360,000 active users doing over 2 billion in trading volume between March and April as well

05:41of this year. Despite you know them having these phishing breaches and stiff competition from other

05:48platforms like Rarible etc you know there's still a formidable force in this blockchain space so we have

05:56that Dapp. OpenSea is one of the ones that we're including on our list. Go check out the full review

06:10and a whole host of other platforms if you want to learn a little bit more. But we also have Atomic Hub

06:16which is on the WAX blockchain. It is a web interface for a novel NFT standard that was

06:23developed by Atomic Assets. So it's aimed at making NFT creations more affordable and efficient for

06:29people encouraging mass adoption as well. So the hub features an NFT explorer that allows users to list

06:36and browse through existing NFTs in a marketplace that also enables users to buy and sell NFTs and an NFT

06:44creation tool that can be deployed effectively by anyone without the need of any developer knowledge.

06:51So the Dapp also operates primarily on the WAX blockchain which was created specifically to

06:58support NFT adoption but it is also compatible with EOS and Atomic Assets recorded 1 million active users

07:07and 3 million in total volume in its smart contracts as well between March and April. So they are on the list.

07:14We also have Alien Worlds which is a sci-fi play to earn video game and manifest that actually lets players

07:22explore multiple planets and players can make money trading resources that they find in the game which

07:29include NFT based items such as weapons and tools as well as sort of mining Trillium or TLM which is the native

07:39utility token that powers the game's virtual economy and the type of tool used and the availability of

07:47resources on a particular planet also or on some different land types actually determine the amount of

07:54TLM that you can mine and it can also be used to mint NFTs that can be used in the game and sold in exchanges for

08:03cash or some other cryptocurrencies and the game currently actually has about 18 levels and three different worlds

08:11where players are rewarded with that TLM for completing missions. So it's a very interesting platform as well

08:19and I would recommend you guys check it out but again these are just a few of the top projects that you can

08:30actually find at the moment that are focusing on you know providing a good decentralized applications

08:40for you know kind of the whole space in general with the real world uses that are actually getting uses

08:46and uh it's also yeah you know it's just fascinating uh technology in general and all of these are able

08:53to be run on your mac on your pc like I said some of them are browser extensions etc so alien world is just

09:01another one of those apps uh that you know you can also check out uh it operates on uh top of um

09:08ethereum wax bnb chains as well and they can run on the most pc and mac browsers uh about 800k

09:15uh active users doing uh 29 million plus you know in smart contract volume uh you know a monthly

09:24um which is pretty pretty big uh prime lab which is also another one is built on the near blockchain

09:31and uh it is a web3 platform that is pretty much launching several uh modular applications that are built

09:37on near uh it's uh ecosystem of applications uh include an nft maker app which allows users to

09:45uh mint nfts in minutes and also has a web3 cloud which functions as a uh decentralized encrypted file

09:52storage system also has a wi-fi network that also runs on a play per use subscription type of scheme

10:00and also has a marketing platform and you know they've recorded some quite number um you know significant

10:06numbers in terms of active users doing over 700k about 100k in smart contract volume as well between sort of

10:14uh march and april of this year splinterlands again another one of those nft based collectible card

10:22trading games where players can actually compete with each other in card jewels as well as purchase

10:29trade and sell game cards on the platform's inbuilt nft marketplace so there are more than 500 nft cards in

10:39the game each uh with its own unique attributes as well and abilities that you know can be fused together

10:45to create uh new cards and even better statistics and players can actually earn rewards by fulfilling

10:51in-game objectives such as participating in skills based matches splinterlands also utilizes a game

10:59utility token called uh dark energy crystals dec which is awarded to players whenever they win tournaments

11:06and uh ranked uh battle battles or if they finish in uh sort of uh top in some uh in-game quest as

11:14well splinterlands run runs uh on both uh the hive and the wax blockchains uh has over 500k in

11:22users doing over nearly 200k in user volume as well and the upland which is on eos is a blockchain

11:29based metaverse game that allows users to purchase and trade virtual properties that represent real world

11:35assets uh mapping real addresses of places such as san francisco brooklyn chicago etc so players can

11:43actually own digital land and build properties to earn rewards in the form of our upx as well which is

11:49the game's economy token which can be purchased with fiat or cryptocurrencies or sold on other

11:55exchanges so players are actually incentivized to hold their upland assets through their monthly uh upx

12:02rewards that are generated uh through the renting scheme which allows them to lend assets to others

12:09for fee also runs on mac and pc and mobiles and it's powered by eos uh has a decent number of uh

12:17users as well axi marketplace of course which is an eth running official marketplace for uh the leading p2

12:24e-game axi infinity you can always go check that out there's a lot of information about axi infinity katana

12:32on running as well as uh um known as the running decks pretty much it's a decentralized exchange that's

12:38built to support trades with the axi infinity ecosystem and it's commonly used to quickly swap

12:45smooth love portion which is uh the slp uh and a a xs as well which is uh for uh the axi infinity ecosystem

12:56swapping that for wrapped eat for example or other tokens while at the same time helping to avoid the

13:03exorbitant fees on the main ethereum chain so you know the platform actually is aiming to increase the

13:09liquidity of its ecosystem as well uh and facilitate uh breeding and trading of axes so magic eden which is

13:17on solana is a you know quite a popular nft marketplace that allows users to sell and purchase

13:24and trade nfts built on the metaplex standard so the marketplace caters to mostly digital artworks

13:32collectibles in metaverse gaming assets so magic eden also has a launch pad which automates the process

13:39of launching nfts requiring project runners to upload the files while it also takes care of uh minting

13:48distribution and everything else on the back end so yeah this is another one of those these are the top

13:54decentralized applications for mac and pc this year let me know which are the ones that i didn't
