00:00But I'm going to tell you right now who I hope absolutely doesn't win the Super Bowl, and it's his own fault.
00:07Sometimes saying nothing is far better than saying something, far better.
00:14Now, if we're going to get into the history, and that team is the Chicago Bears, and it's because of Caleb Williams.
00:20Now, last season during his rookie year, I understand that Caleb Williams, actually, there were people who questioned whether or not he could play football,
00:27even though everyone knew that the coaching staff in Chicago was perhaps the worst coaching staff in the sport outside of the Jets, Cleveland, maybe.
00:37We knew there were some bad situations, but everyone knew that the Giants' situation has been quite, quite poor.
00:42But we knew Chicago did not have a good coaching situation, and you take the first overall pick, and yes, last season, for about nine weeks, the second half of the season,
00:51there were absolutely people saying already, especially with Daniel's success in Washington, that he couldn't play.
00:58But I think, you know what, I'm just going to play it, and then I'll explain to you why I want anybody else to win the Super Bowl except the Chicago Bears.
01:08You know, I wasn't the biggest.
01:09I wasn't the strongest.
01:10I wasn't the tallest, fastest, whatever the case may be.
01:13You know, I get drafted here, you know, told that I'm not a special player.
01:20I've told that I'm not, you know, a good fit here.
01:24I've told that, you know, coach and I won't work.
01:26I've told, you know, I can't win here.
01:28And so, you know, I know that's going to keep going on.
01:32But, you know, I do take a little satisfaction and things like that and, you know, being able to help this team, help this organization, be a part of it, you know, to get to the playoffs.
01:43And, you know, my goal isn't to just get to the playoffs.
01:46My goal is to win and win big.
01:53Okay.
01:53Let's just be honest for a second.
01:55Now, one part of that, one part of that was true.
01:58Last season, there were people who said he couldn't play, even though his coach was a buffoon.
02:03Okay, I'll give him that.
02:04Let's just be honest about Caleb Williams now, for people that maybe don't know, because maybe you don't follow it.
02:08Or maybe if you knew it, this is review.
02:10Coming out of high school, guess where he was ranked amongst quarterbacks?
02:14He went to the Elite 11, where the best high school quarterbacks, whether it's Krenn Ewers, who's the new starter in Miami, every year.
02:20There's a big group of quarterbacks that go to this thing called the Elite 11.
02:24And guess who was the number one-ranked quarterback from multiple publications?
02:30Caleb Williams.
02:31So, when people said he wasn't that good, how were they saying that when they were literally saying that amongst all the high school quarterbacks,
02:38and everybody's watching has a high school quarterback in their town, he was number one.
02:43Then he goes to Oklahoma, takes the job from a guy who's currently in the NFL, follows his coach to USC, and he won the Heisman Trophy.
02:51So, when they handed him the Heisman, were they saying that you weren't good enough?
02:56After you were told you were the number one quarterback in high school, now they're saying you're the number one player in all of college.
03:03Here's the Heisman.
03:04Then you go pro after three years, which is fine, from USC, and you're the first overall pick in the draft.
03:13Now, how are they telling you, Caleb, that you're not good when you're the first overall pick?
03:18What exactly would they have to do for you, Caleb, for them to tell you they believed in you?
03:25Okay?
03:25Ranking your number one's not enough.
03:27The Heisman's not enough.
03:29Being the first overall pick is not enough.
03:32And now that you're doing well in year two of your career, oh, the tough road you had.
03:37You're talking like you're Matt Stafford, who had to go 100 years with the Lions.
03:41I am telling you, this dude I have tried to defend.
03:46When he cried in college and went into the stands and he was painting his nails, I said, I don't care what he does as long as he balls out.
03:53I don't care what he does as long as he balls out.
03:56But now in the NFL, as a grown man, in year two, you know how many quarterbacks in this league, good quarterbacks,
04:04wish they could win at this level in year two, wish they could have a Heisman Trophy on there, wish they could have a Heisman Trophy.
04:12I'm so tired of this from guys like this.
04:15And that's why I'm not going to hold a grudge against him forever.
04:18Maybe he'll grow up.
04:20Maybe this is who he is.
04:21We'll find out.
04:22But I can tell you this year, the worst thing that could happen is that guy win a Super Bowl this year
04:28and then try to convince all of us about the tough road he's had when he's been nothing, nothing but praised
04:34except for six months in his entire damn life.
04:37He was the best player in Little League.
04:39He was the best player in high school, the best player in college, the first pick.
04:43And a year or two, he makes it.
04:44And now all of a sudden, it's like so many people just doubted me.
04:48Who?
04:49Find them.
04:50You've had less people doubt you than anybody I've ever come across in sports.
04:57Cut it out, man.
04:58All right, I don't know who's going to win.
05:00Maybe it's the Rams at the end of the day.
05:02Maybe it's New England.
05:03Maybe it's Denver.
05:04Maybe it's Buffalo.
05:05But I can tell you who I don't want it to be.
05:07Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears.
05:09And then maybe he can learn some actual anxiety.
