00:00The snow focus is where we have these alerts and I want to circle West Virginia for you.
00:05It's hard to see the winter weather advisories there just kind of because it kind of blends in.
00:09We do have winter storm watches along the east coast of Maine as well.
00:13So some heavier snowfall expected there, but it gives you an idea of the biggest impact areas.
00:19Now let's go back to radar and clouds, give you a closer look at exactly what's going on here.
00:23And I clicked too fast. There we go. I want to take you over the last six hours here.
00:27We talked about Pittsburgh, this line moving in.
00:30It's going to break up a little bit as it moves into the city, but this isn't all of the precipitation that we're talking about.
00:36We have some further to the north as well when all is said and done by tomorrow night.
00:41Back to that snow map that you got a sneak peek of.
00:43One to three inches widespread here, not really for Pennsylvania.
00:47The far northern portions, you get it on the action, but it's further to the north that we really get our act together with the snow.
00:53Boston, you're right on the line, expect some accumulation.
00:55Meanwhile, Philadelphia, New York, you're not going to see too much accumulating snowfall.
01:01You'll see some snowflakes, maybe a little bit sticking to the ground, but we're below the one to three inch criteria here.
01:07Of course, the higher total is three to six up into our higher elevations, into the Adirondacks, the Green and White Mountains, areas like that.
01:15I want to show you future radar and clouds because this really gives you an idea of what I was talking about when I say that it really changes overnight.
01:21There's our widespread rainfall, Pittsburgh getting in on the action, and then even snowfall as we head further into the north.
01:29Now, some of you, it's going to be sleet.
01:30It's going to be ice.
01:31That brings up its own challenges.
01:33For others, it is the snow.
01:35Either one can create some slick spots on the roads during a very busy travel week.
01:40So, we get to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Boston, snowflakes are falling, and I'm stopping at 5 p.m. specifically for a couple of reasons.
01:47One, I know a lot of people, you're working Monday, Tuesday, you're off the rest of the week.
01:50So, 5 p.m., maybe you're trying to get home and there's traffic because of the snow.
01:55Or you are traveling for the holidays, 5 p.m. on your Tuesday, and you face some delays because of the snow.
02:01So, whatever situation you're in, want to give you that timeline and that heads up.
02:05It takes a while Wednesday for the snow to completely get out of here.
02:09And we don't say complete goodbye to the raindrops, the snowflakes, but this is our quote-unquote break into Thursday before the next system starts to move in.

02:29A lot of people trying to get home after Christmas, and anyone in blue, expect some problems.
