00:05the renowned orthopedic surgeons in America is also the team physician for the Dallas Cowboys

00:10and had the procedure yesterday so obviously you knock on Woody comes back and we get to watch one

00:16of the great players of all time play again because his fans we all do want that of course

00:20he's not coming back anytime soon obviously because with both of the ligaments torn

00:24the recovery is a little bit longer so if he came back even November 1st next year I think

00:30you're ahead of the game but you never know some guys do heal differently Adrian Peterson

00:34quite famously came back in a short amount of time and ran for 2,000 yards right he's the anomaly

00:40there but uh you we do wish Patrick Holmes well good now Carson Wentz the year where he was second

00:45in MVP when the Eagles won that first Super Bowl right he had the same injury only slightly worse

00:49he was able to return by week four okay so look so if he can get back in October yeah house money

00:55at that point I'm just letting you know just because it was similar injury at the same time

01:08enjoy the next uh you know 10 11 12 months uh without worrying about the Kansas City Chiefs but

01:13there's something there's a different reason I bring it up first off and maybe I'm the only guy that

01:18feels this way but I do feel this way it says a lot about your city and your franchise where your

01:26franchise quarterback and all world everything gets the surgery somewhere else that tells you all you

01:35need to tell about how Kansas City runs its franchise and why the players have given it failing grades from

01:40an ownership standpoint for a number of years now you're telling me that Patrick Mahomes has such

01:47little faith and trust in the Kansas City Chiefs medical staff that when they first came back with

01:54the MRI and said torn ACL I'm assuming they knew LCL and just didn't just uh announce it maybe they

02:01missed it though but for Patrick Mahomes to turn his back and again it's his body rightfully in the

02:09right spot to do it you gotta get the best medical care I think we've all learned a valuable lesson now

02:15you don't get good medical care in Kansas City because torn ACLs and LCLs are rudimentary easy

02:24every day of the week procedures now they are for orthopedic surgeons it's not a difficult procedure

02:29and the fact that Patrick Mahomes did not either trust the Kansas City Chiefs medical staff's

02:35diagnoses or once he accepted what the diagnoses that's medical uh talk uh was didn't want them

02:43operating on them says a lot about the city of Kansas City and the medical staff in Kansas City

02:50and what Kansas City does from a football standpoint in employing good or bad doctors no that is pretty

02:58telling I'm telling you right now that's telling it is very telling that the guy that represents the

03:03only chance your franchise has for long-term success moving forward not only didn't trust your medical

03:10staff didn't trust you and got on a plane and went to Dallas had the Cowboys physician take a look at

03:19him and had the Cowboys physician do the procedure I hope I never get sick in Kansas City I'm gonna die

03:26in Kansas City that's terrible you can't trust people in Kansas City with your medical attention

03:32and life-saving procedures I don't want matter of fact I'm never going to Kansas City I'm looking at

03:38this now there's a rumor that the top doctors were busy doing barbecue when he called about a

03:43consultation they said brisket hold on the menu brisket ribs yeah and chicken and chicken and chicken

03:49and chicken and chicken that's too much I mean how you gonna get a consultation yeah so I'm just telling

03:54you that is a shot at Kansas City and I'm sorry I'm sure the doctors that work for the Chiefs are

04:00really good at what they do but according to Patrick Mahomes they're not because I know that the Chiefs

04:06like every team has an orthopedic surgeon on call whether he's a team physician or not every team

04:11employs a orthopedic surgeon here in New York it's the hospital for special surgery does both the Jets

04:17and the Giants okay boom all right period stop that's what it is but in Kansas City man you learned a

04:25valuable lesson when within 24 hours of Kansas City saying torn ACL he was on a private jet to Dallas

04:32saying I want a second opinion you know offensive that is it's very offensive like if you're a doctor

04:38and you're the doctor of record for I don't care it could be a business it could be a team whatever it

04:43is yeah and that's your expertise and they pay you a good sum of money to be their in-house guy right

04:49yeah and as soon as you give a diagnosis that guy runs to another state to another doctor

04:56couldn't wait exactly what you do man I'm telling you right now don't get sick in Kansas City
