00:00Clearly, the Chiefs don't believe in Kareem Hunt, and Pacheco's been hurt, because with the game on the line just a couple days ago, they went three consecutive passes, and they had plenty of time to run the ball.
00:11They did.
00:12And people, once again, much like they were in Philadelphia, at the end of Andy Reid's career there, are now questioning Andy Reid, why aren't we running the football more?
00:21So Andy Reid was asked that question, as he was in Philadelphia a decade or so earlier.
00:27And Andy Reid threw Patrick Mahomes under the bus.
00:33Did he?
00:33I think I've got video for you.
00:35All right.
00:36Listen to this little snippet yesterday from his weekly gathering with the press from his office about why they're not running the football more.
00:44Go ahead.
00:44They're calling quite a few of the RPOs.
00:48So yesterday, they were given us opportunities to throw the football.
00:53So we utilized the opportunities there.
00:55And those things end up being as good as a run for you.
00:59We're getting four-plus yards, and you go with it.
01:04But the runs are being called.
01:06It's just, you know, sometimes they turn into passes in today's world.
01:12Stop it right there.
01:13The runs are being called with a little smirk on his face, because he's taking a shot at his quarterback,
01:19who walked off the field on Sunday, very, very upset, almost with tears running down his face,
01:24because he doesn't know what it's like to be five and five.
01:27He doesn't know what it's like to be five and six.
01:29But they're headed towards that with a tough game against the Colts this upcoming weekend.
01:33So it's not just that the fans are now in full-fledged panic, which I love to see.
01:38Imagine going from the cockiness and arrogance of, we're going back to another Super Bowl.
01:43We're going to win our fourth Super Bowl.
01:45We're going to catch Tom Brady.
01:47And after a tough loss against the Denver Broncos, you're now asking them to tank for Jeremiah Love?
01:54I love it.
01:56Then you have the head coach, Andy Reid, as you heard right there, throwing Patrick Mahomes under the bus.
02:02Look, I can only call the plays.
02:04If he doesn't hand the ball off, go find out why.
02:07I'm calling run-pass options, and it's supposed to be an option,
02:10meaning sometimes you hand it off, sometimes you throw it.
02:14He don't like handing the ball off.
02:16All right?
02:16So he throws his quarterback under the bus.
02:19And then you have Chris Jones, who's a Hall of Fame defensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs.
02:25Right?
02:25He's great.
02:26Dominant player.
02:27And Chris Jones came out yesterday as well when he met the media.
02:32And he said on third and long, where Bo Nix threw the pass, like third and whatever it was,
02:38completed a pass in the middle of the field to keep the drive going,
02:42told him to get the field goal to win the game.
02:44Chris Jones came out and said something very, very interesting about the predictability
02:50of the Steve Spagnuolo defense.
02:53Listen to this one.
02:54Go ahead.
02:55Great field study for them, as they called it out.
02:58I heard them call it out.
02:59They actually switched to live.
03:01If you watch the film, you can see Bo Nix kind of switched to live.
03:04So they knew it.
03:07We've got to do a better job of disguising.
03:09They knew it.
03:11We need to do a better job disguising it.
03:13So Andy Reid takes a shot at Patrick Mahomes.
03:15Chris Jones takes a shot at Steve Spagnuolo, the Hall of Fame defensive coordinator.
03:20And what he's saying there, I'll put it in normal words for you, is that a second-year quarterback,
03:26Bo Nix, knew exactly what the amazing Super Bowl champion, Dynasty Kansas City Chiefs,
03:34were going to do.
03:35And they audibled out of their play because they know that Kansas City is predictable.
03:40So let's just bring all this together now, okay?
03:43The fan base is in a free-fall panic right now.
03:46Let's tank for Jeremiah Love.
03:49The head coach, it's throwing your all-world quarterback under the bus,
03:54and your all-world defensive lineman, it's throwing the defensive coordinator under the bus.
03:59If you don't think it's over, if you don't think it's a wrap,
04:03if you don't see all the signs, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam,
04:07that the Kansas City Chief run has come to a glorious end,
04:12then go get cataract surgery because it's right there sitting in front of your face.
04:17It is a wrap.
04:18This team has never wavered on confidence.
04:22This team has never once shown a chink in the armor where you say to yourself,
04:27oh, maybe they no longer believe in themselves.
04:30And now you've got it on full display.
04:34And the best part of it is that long-standing Chiefs fans have seen average football for a lot of years.
04:41Obviously, Patrick Mahomes changed that when they drafted him,
04:45and Andy Reid changed that, and Steve Spagnuolo changed that.
04:49But in your core, in your DNA, as a Chiefs fan,
04:53you are an average person rooting for an average team.
04:58And when it's all said and done, we all end up exactly where we're supposed to be.
05:04Winners win, losers lose, and average people are right in the middle.
05:08And that's the Kansas City Chiefs.
05:10And I've got to tell you, I didn't see this happening this early.
05:14I thought maybe Week 17, you know, a bad loss, maybe like to the Raiders or something like that,
05:19that knocks them out of the playoffs, that the city of Kansas City would go full-on panic,
05:25that they'd start taking shots at each other because that's what average and losing teams do.
05:30But I really did think that the Chiefs were above it.
05:32I didn't think they'd win the Super Bowl this year, but I thought that all that success,
05:37all that cockiness, all that arrogance, they were above this.
05:41This is for guys like me, a Jet fan.
05:44Prior to, you know, your little win streak here in the last seven or eight years,
05:48this was about you, Philadelphia Eagle fans, who did not have a lot of success for a very long time.
05:53And the fact that I'm now watching the Kansas City Chiefs fan implode
06:00and seeing players taking shots at coaches and coaches taking shots at players,
06:06man, that's familiar to me.
