00:17Oh, yeah. I've been riding a snowmobile across Canada for the last three and a half weeks.
00:22We actually started in Vancouver, did a whole tour. We took the used out. It was amazing.
00:27Went from Vancouver all the way to Halifax, which is like, I've never even been that far east.
00:32Wow.
00:33Yeah, it was colder than a witch's breast.
00:37I'm telling you, I had literally, I still have chapped lips. I had chapped lips for three and a half weeks.
00:42I'm like, when I finally landed in LA, I'm like, I smell mold. There's humidity. I'm back home, baby. What's up?
00:48I'm so glad to be here.
00:49So you flew all the way from Halifax.
00:51Yeah, Halifax a couple of days before last, and then it was a long day, and I'm just so grateful to be back in Cali.
00:56I was just talking to the guys from Rise Against who said they played with you pretty much all year.
01:02Yeah, we did two legs of Rise of the Roach, and we brought them and Under Oath out on.
01:06We split it up in two legs and got really close to those cats. I love those guys.
01:09Great band, great people, great songs.
01:12And it's funny, we were talking backstage and catering about this.
01:17It's like, man, we've waited our whole lives to play the Forum,
01:20and this year we've played the, this will be the second time we've played the Forum in one year.
01:25It was like, oh man, we're living the dream right now.
01:27This is like, we're driving down the hill looking at the Forum all lit up red and green.
01:30I'm like, man, this is like storybook right here.
01:33It's so fun to have you here. I'm very excited about that.
01:35Yeah, man, it's been a long time, and I'm super grateful to be back on this.
01:38It's a big deal for us.
01:40How do you get your head around 25 years since Infest?
01:43I mean, you blink an eye and it happens, you know.
01:45I'm just so grateful that we're still doing it, honestly.
01:48Is it difficult, like, mentally to...
01:50This was the goal, honestly.
01:52Yeah, sure.
01:52This was the goal, but like, we're actually doing it and experiencing it.
01:56And this year has been, like, surreal, honestly.
01:59Touring Europe and celebrating that album, touring America multiple times over,
02:03touring up in Canada and celebrating this 25th anniversary.
02:06It's just been such a blessing, honestly.
02:09And you have a new album?
02:10Yeah, we got, well, we're working on a new album right now.
02:12I've actually come back right after the first of the year, get back in the studio.
02:15We're about eight songs into it.
02:17We're dropping a new single, I think, in February next year.
02:20Nice.
02:21Yeah, and so we're just like, we're constantly working.
02:23We haven't stopped, and it's just, it's been a great ride, you know.
02:27What do you do for the holidays?
02:28So I'm fixing to just go home and post up and not do much.
02:32I live in Sacramento.

02:34And it's been a long year, so my bed is calling.
02:39Are you good at relaxing in the down times or no?
02:41Well, it takes me a few to kind of settle in, but I recently purchased a pontoon boat,
02:47and I love fishing, and so that is like, I really am looking forward to getting back
02:52out on the water.
02:52That's truly the exact opposite of this.
02:54Oh, 100%, man.
02:56It's like, my life is like a demon hell ride, and then I go home and I put on my muck boots.
03:00I go out and take care of the chickens and the tortoise in the backyard, you know, and
03:04then I'm like, all right, son, we're going fishing.
03:06That's pretty great.

03:08It's a great way to unplug and just kind of like recuperate my mind and just get a little
03:12bit of peace because it's a wildlife.
