00:14I'm great. It's so great to have you here.

00:17I'm always excited about new bands, new music, new everything, but it's also, there are bands that we built the radio station on, and Social D is one of those.
00:27Yes. We've been around for about five minutes.
00:30Yeah, you have been around for about five minutes.

00:33You recently went through some trouble with your throat. Was it cancer?
00:37Yeah, I went through cancer in 23.
00:39And were you afraid, like mentally, I may never be able to sing again?
00:44Of course.
00:44Yeah.
00:45Well, I was afraid I was not going to live.
00:49Right.
00:49Yeah, I mean, it's, I've been through some hard things in my life and some dangerous situations.
00:57Right.
00:58As you can imagine, but nothing like that.
01:01And you had to learn to talk and sing again?
01:04I had to learn to eat, swallow.
01:07Wow.
01:07Everything.
01:08I mean, they went in there, they sent a robot.
01:12I call him Ike, the robot.
01:14He went down and cut out my tonsil and the tumor.
01:20And then the second part of the surgery was they slipped my neck and cut the lymph nodes out.
01:26Oh, my God.
01:28So I could not eat food.
01:30Or, I mean, I came out of surgery with a drain and a feeding tube.
01:35Oh, wow.
01:36Yeah.
01:36That must have been so scary.
01:38Well, I'm glad that you're alive.
01:40Also glad that you could sing and glad that you're here tonight.
01:42My voice is stronger than it's ever been.
01:44I'd love to hear that.
01:45I think I'm singing like there's no tomorrow.

01:52You've learned that.
