According to Neeraj, he was staying at his friend Vijay’s house on December 8. As it was late, Vijay ordered kadhai chicken from Ananta Hospitality’s ‘Kakke Da Hotel’ via Zomato. After serving the food in separate bowls, Vijay went to wash his hands. Neeraj began eating and was halfway through the meal when he noticed a dead lizard in the chicken. Shocked, he immediately began vomiting, and his condition deteriorated quickly.

A panicked Vijay dialed 112. Police reached the spot and rushed Neeraj to a medical college. He remained under medical supervision for nearly 24 hours and was discharged the next day, December 9.

After being discharged, Neeraj filed a complaint at the Medical Police Station against the owner of Ananta Hospitality’s Kakke Da Hotel.
