Transcript
00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Lord be with you and with your spirit.
00:20Dear friends, it is great to be with you again for the celebration of this Holy Eucharist.
00:24And we wish that through this celebration online that you continue to receive consolation and strength and blessings from God.
00:32Let's pause for a few moments so that you may offer your own intentions to God for this Holy Mass.
00:46So as we pray for one another and as we offer everything that we are and our own intentions with the sacrifice of Christ,
00:52let us also acknowledge our sins and ask the Lord for pardon and strength.
00:57You were sent to heal the contrite of heart, Lord have mercy.
01:01You came to call sinners, Christ have mercy.
01:05You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us, Lord have mercy.
01:11May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.
01:18Let us pray.
01:21Stir up our hearts, O Lord, to make ready the paths of your only begotten Son,
01:27that through his coming we may be found worthy to serve you with minds made pure.
01:32Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
01:41A reading from the prophet Isaiah.
01:44I, the Lord your God, am holding you by the right hand.
01:48I tell you, do not be afraid, I will help you.
01:53Do not be afraid, Jacob, poor worm, Israel, puny might.
01:58I will help you, it is the Lord who speaks.
02:02The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer.
02:05See, I turn you into a threshing sled, new with doubled teeth.
02:10You shall thresh and crush the mountains, and turn the hills to shaft.
02:14You shall winnow them, and the wind will blow them away, the gale will scatter them.
02:20But you yourself will rejoice in the Lord, and glory in the Holy One of Israel.
02:26The poor and the needy ask for water, and there is none.
02:31Their tongue is parched with thirst.
02:33I, the Lord, will answer them.
02:36I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.
02:39I will make rivers swell up on barren heights, and fountains in the midst of valleys.
02:45Turn the wilderness into a lake, and dry ground into water spring.
02:50In the wilderness I will put cedar trees, acacias, myrtles, olives.
02:56In the desert I will plant juniper, plain tree, and cypress side by side.
03:02So that men may see and know, may all observe and understand,
03:07that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.
03:13The word of the Lord.
03:20The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.
03:25The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.
03:30I will give you glory, O God my King.
03:33I will bless your name forever.
03:35How good is the Lord to all, compassionate to all his creatures.
03:40The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.
03:47All your creatures shall thank you, O Lord, and your friends shall repeat their blessing.
03:53They shall speak of the glory of your reign, and declare your might, O God,
03:58to make known to men your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your reign.
04:02The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.
04:07Yours is an everlasting kingdom, your rule lasts from age to age.
04:12The Lord is kind and merciful, slow to anger, and rich in compassion.
04:16Alleluia! Alleluia!
04:21Let the clouds rain down the just one, and the earth bring forth a savior.
04:26Alleluia!
04:29The Lord be with you.
04:32A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:35Glory to you, O Lord.
04:38Jesus spoke to the crowds.
04:40I tell you solemnly, of all the children born of women, a greater than John the Baptist has never been seen.
04:48Yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he is.
04:54Since John the Baptist came up to this present time, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and the violent are taking it by storm.
05:04Because it was towards John, that all the prophecies of the prophets and of the lower leading, and he, if you will believe me, is the Elijah who was to return.
05:17If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen.
05:23The Gospel of the Lord.
05:26Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
05:41Fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life.
05:58Fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become for us our spiritual drink.
06:15Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
06:21Fruit of the vine and work of human hands, it will become for us our spiritual drink.
06:45Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father.
06:55May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and the glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his Holy Church.
07:03Accept, we pray, O Lord, these offerings we make, gathered from among your gifts to us.
07:09And may what you grant us to celebrate devoutly here below, gain for us the prize of eternal redemption.
07:16Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
07:19The Lord be with you, and with your spirit. Lift up your hearts, we lift them up to the Lord.
07:24Let us give thanks to the Lord our God, it is right and just.
07:28It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks.
07:35Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
07:40For he assumed at his first coming the lowliness of human flesh, and so fulfilled the design you formed long ago.
07:48And opened for us the way to eternal salvation.
07:51That when he comes again in glory and majesty and all is at last made manifest.
07:57We who watch for that day may inherit the great promise, in which now we dare to hope.
08:03And so with angels and archangels, with thrones and dominions, and with all the hosts and powers of heaven we sing the hymn of your glory, as without end we acclaim.
08:14Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.
08:24Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
08:29You are indeed holy, O Lord, and all you have created rightly gives you praise.
08:37For through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power and working of the Holy Spirit, you give life to all things and make them holy.
08:46And you never cease to gather a people to yourself so that, from the rising of the sun to its setting, a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name.
08:55Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore you by the same Spirit, graciously make holy these gifts we have brought to you for consecration,
09:03that they may become the body and blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, at whose command we celebrate these mysteries.
09:12For on the night he was betrayed, he himself took bread. And giving you thanks, he said the blessing broke the bread,
09:21and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it. For this is my body, which will be given up for you.
09:51In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and giving you thanks, he said the blessing, and gave the chalice to his disciples, saying,
10:10Take this, all of you, and drink from it. For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
10:36Take this, all of you, and do this in memory of me.
10:37Take this, all of you, and enjoy yourself.
10:38Take this, all of you, and enjoy yourself.
10:39And with me.
10:40Take this, all of you, and enjoy yourself.
10:42Let's start with me.
11:13When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.
11:22Therefore, O Lord, as we celebrate the memorial of the saving passion of your Son,
11:27his wondrous resurrection and ascension into heaven, and as we look forward to his second coming,
11:33we offer you in thanksgiving his holy and living sacrifice.
11:38Look, we pray upon the oblation of your church and recognizing the sacrificial victim
11:43by whose death you willed to reconcile us to yourself.
11:48Grant that we who are nourished by the body and blood of your Son
11:51and filled with his Holy Spirit may become one body, one spirit in Christ.
11:57May he make of us an eternal offering to you so that we may obtain an inheritance with your elect,
12:02especially with the most blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
12:07with blessed Joseph, her spouse, with your blessed apostles and glorious martyrs,
12:11with St. Damasus and with all the saints,
12:13on whose constant intercession in your presence we rely for unfailing help.
12:19May the sacrifice of our reconciliation, we pray, O Lord, advance the peace and salvation of all the world.
12:26Be pleased to confirm in faith and charity your pilgrim church on earth.
12:31With your servant Leo our Pope and Charles our Bishop, the order of bishops,
12:35all the clergy, and the entire people you have gained for your own.
12:40Listen graciously to the prayers of this family whom you have summoned before you.
12:45In your compassion, O merciful Father, gather to yourself all your children scattered throughout the world.
12:51To our departed brothers and sisters and to all who are pleasing to you at their passing from this life,
12:58give kind admittance to your kingdom.
13:00There we hope to enjoy forever the fullness of your glory through Christ our Lord,
13:05through whom you bestow on the world all that is good.
13:09Through him and with him and in him, O God, almighty Father,
13:13in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
13:15all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
13:20Amen.
13:21At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
13:27Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
13:32Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
13:37Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
13:42as we forgive those who trespass against us.
13:45And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
13:49Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, and graciously grant peace in our days,
13:55that by the help of your mercy we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
14:01as we await the blessed hope in the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
14:05Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
14:11Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
14:14Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church,
14:17and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
14:21who live and reign forever and ever.
14:24Amen.
14:24The peace of the Lord be with you always,
14:27and with your spirit.
14:28Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
14:30Peace be with you.
14:31Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
14:46have mercy on us.
14:48Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
14:51have mercy on us.
14:53Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world,
14:57grant us peace.

15:28behold him who takes away the sins of the world,
15:31blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
15:34Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
15:39but only say the word and my soul shall be here.
15:42My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
15:48I love you above all things,
15:50and I desire to receive you into my soul.
15:53Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
15:57comely spiritually into my heart,
15:59I embrace you as if you were already there,
16:02and unite myself wholly to you.
16:05Never permit me to be separated from you.
16:07Amen.
16:09Let us pray.
16:13May these mysteries, O Lord, in which we have participated,
16:16profit us, we pray.
16:18For even now, as we walk amid passing things,
16:21you teach us by them to love the things of heaven,
16:24and hold fast to what endures,
16:27through Christ our Lord.
16:29Amen.
