00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. And with yours. Good morning everyone.
00:30In the first week of Advent, the Gospel reminds us that we should have a strong foundation in our faith, in our personal spiritual life. Without that, we cannot build it up. Without that, we cannot continue in our spiritual journey.
00:49Sometimes, even though we know, we fail to follow the instructions to build that foundation.
01:01Let us take a moment to accept all our failures and weaknesses, and ask pardon for that, and prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
01:13I confess to Almighty God and you, my brothers and sisters, that have greatly sealed in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my court, through my court, through my most previous court.
01:38Therefore, I ask, blessed Mary, the Virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me, to the Lord our God.
01:49May your mighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:55Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Let us pray.
02:06Stir up your power, O Lord, and come to our help with mighty strength, that what our sins impede, the grace of your mercy may hasten.
02:21Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
02:29Amen.
02:30A reading from the prophet Isaiah.
02:40That day this song will be sung in the land of Judah.
02:46We have a strong city, to guard us, he has set war and grumpet about us.
02:54Open the gates, let the upright nation come in.
02:58She the faithful one, whose mind is steadfast, who keeps the peace, because she trusts in you.
03:07Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is the everlasting Rock.
03:13He has brought Lord those who lived up, lived high up in the steep citadel.
03:20He brings it down, brings it down, brings it down to the ground, flings it down in the dust.
03:30The feet of the lowly, the footsteps of the poor, tangle on it.
03:36The word of the Lord.
03:42Our response.
03:43Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
03:47Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
03:51Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his love has no end.
03:56It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in men.
04:00It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in princes.
04:05Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
04:09Open to me the gates of holiness.
04:12I will enter and give thanks.
04:14This is the Lord's own gate, where the just may enter.
04:18I will thank you for you have given answer, and you are my savior.
04:24Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
04:28O Lord, grant us salvation.
04:30O Lord, grant us success.
04:32Blessed in the name of the Lord is he who comes.
04:36We bless you from the house of the Lord.
04:39The Lord of God is our light.
04:42Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
04:47Alleluia, Alleluia.
04:50The Lord be with you.
05:00And with your spirit.
05:02Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
05:05Jesus said to his disciples,
05:09It is not those who say to me, Lord, Lord,
05:14Who will enter the kingdom of heaven,
05:17But the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
05:21Therefore, anyone who listens to these words of mine,
05:26And acts on them,
05:29Will be like a sensible man,
05:31Who built his house on rock.
05:35Rain came down, floods rose,
05:37Guiles blew,
05:39And hurled themselves against that house,
05:43And it did not fall.
05:45It was founded on rock.
05:47But everyone who listens to these words of mine,
05:51And does not act on them,
05:53Will be like a stupid man,
05:55Who built his house on sand.
05:57Rain came down, floods rose,
06:01Guiles blew,
06:02And struck that house,
06:03And it fell,
06:05And what a fall it had.
06:07The Gospel of the Lord.
06:11Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
06:13Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:19For through your goodness we have received
06:21The bread we offer you,
06:23Fruit of the earth and work of human hands,
06:25It will become for us the bread of life.
06:29The mystery of this water,
06:31The mystery of this water,
06:33The mystery of the night.
06:43Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:45For through your goodness we have received,
06:49The vine we offer you,
06:51Fruit of the vine and work of human hands,
06:53It will become our spiritual drink.
06:55Blessed be God forever.
06:57Blessed be God forever.
06:59Blessed be God forever.
07:01Blessed be God forever,
07:03Blessed be God forever.
07:06Blessed be God forever.
07:08Waste in God forever.
07:11Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty
07:25Father, for the praise and glory of His name, for our good and good of all His Holy Church.
07:34Except we pray, O Lord, these offerings we make gathered from among your gifts to us and may what
07:42you grant us to celebrate devotedly here below gain for us the price of eternal redemption
07:48through Christ our Lord. The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Lift up your hearts to the Lord.
07:55Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right and just. It is truly right and just our duty and
08:02our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks Lord Holy Father Almighty and eternal God
08:08through Christ our Lord. For He assumed at His first coming the lowliness of human flesh
08:14and so fulfilled the design you formed long ago and opened for us the way to eternal salvation
08:21that when He comes again in glory and majesty and all is at last made manifest we who watch for that
08:28day may inherit the great promise in which now we dare to hope. And so with angels and archangels
08:35with thrones and dominions and with all the hosts and powers of heaven we sing the hymn of your glory
08:42as without the end we acclaim Holy, O Holy, Holy Lord, God of whose heaven and earth are full of your
08:50glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
09:00You are indeed holy O Lord the fount of all holiness. Make holy therefore these gifts we pray by sending down
09:07your spirit upon them like the dewfall so that they may become for us body and blood of our Lord Jesus
09:14Christ. At the time He was betrayed and entered willingly into this passion He took bread and giving
09:22thanks broke it and gave it to His disciples saying take this all of you and eat of it for this
09:29is my body which will be given up for you. In a similar way when Supravasi entered He took the chalice and
09:48once more giving thanks He gave it to His disciples saying take this all of you and drink from it
09:55for this is the chalice of my blood the blood of the new and eternal covenant which will be poured out
10:02for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins do this in memory of me
10:16the mystery of faith when we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim your death O Lord until
10:26you come again therefore we celebrate the memorial of His death and resurrection we offer you Lord the
10:33bread of life and the chalice of salvation giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your
10:39presence and minister to you humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ we may
10:46be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit remember Lord your church spread throughout the world and
10:52bring that to the fullness of charity together with the play of 14th of Pope Charles our Bishop and all the clergy

11:15that with the blessed virgin Mary mother of God blessed Joseph the spouse with the blessed apostles and all

11:27and we praise and glorify you through your son Jesus Christ through him and with him and in him
11:37our God Almighty Father in the eulogy of the Holy Spirit all glory and honor is yours forever and ever
