Get ready for updated salaries! A cabinet note is slated for submission tomorrow, paving the way for new salary structures to potentially be implemented by January. While we anticipate the full implementation might extend to the end of the first quarter, as previously promised, the commitment from Dr. Dindial offers strong reassurance.
Third schedule officers, your concerns about back pay and advances have been heard! Dr. Dindial has committed to ensuring these payments are made. While some staffing issues currently cause a slight delay, the funds are expected to be disbursed early next year, most likely in January.

00:00So we are outside the ICP's office here, our tutor would have just met with the chief personnel officer, Dr. Daryl Dindial, commander, and we are pleased to say that it was a very fruitful meeting, very cordial, very professional, and quite a number of things would have come out of it.
00:18One thing that our membership will be waiting patiently to hear is that we have made some headway with respect to your new salaries. In January, there's a cabinet note going in tomorrow, please, God. So once that cabinet note is received and it is discussed and so on, we will hopefully get the new salary by January.
00:39As we said, it will take a little longer, so we are hoping for the end of the first quarter, as we would have promised you. Dr. Daryl Dindial has made commitments to certain things, and he seems like a very genuine individual, and we would want to hold him to the promises that he would have made to tutor on this particular day.
00:59We have some other things that we can share with you. We will be sending correspondence to all our members so that you will be aware of all of the details that would have come out of the meeting, but overall, it was a very fruitful meeting.
01:11We would have made some headway. And to our third schedule officers, we know that you all are very in tune and very much interested in what would have taken place here today.
01:20And we have received the commitment from Dr. Daryl Daryl that, yes, your amount of money in terms of the advance, in terms of your back pay, will be paid to you.
01:30However, it cannot be paid to you at this point in time because of issues with staffing and so on.
01:36So it will be paid to you in early the next year, more than likely, hopefully, January.
