00:20And I'll tell you what, if you're Joey Savace, you may look back on that first corner and think,
00:25that was my shot. He said, I can't be that nice. And he had Anderson sitting there
00:29and if he drives him right over the first corner, he's in the lead. But hey, 12 laps to get it done,
00:35but that was a missed opportunity there. That could be the moment that turns the championship
00:39upside down right there. Anderson now in a great position. And the reason why that can really
00:45change things is because Joey has to push now and you don't want to have to push on this racetrack.
00:51But if you're Joey, you have been the best rider all night. You've been the fastest. You had over
00:56a second on everybody in qualifying. So you're working with more speed, but you're going to have
01:01to find a way around Jason Anderson, one of the toughest racers in the sports history.
01:06And you're going to have to do it on a night when Jason is starting to feel it.
01:09But the challenge also for Joey is the fact that Dr. Smooth is right behind him there in
01:15Christian Craig. And Smooth is fast on this racetrack.
01:18Absolutely. And Christian Craig, again, tough race too. Went down right there at the landing of the
01:24triple into the corner. This is going to be a better opportunity for him.
01:27But Jason Anderson has gotten the memo. He's getting more and more comfortable each and every race.
01:3346.9 for Anderson, 47.6 for Savace, 49.1 for Craig. So Anderson's showing the speed out front.
01:43Now the track crew has had their hands full, but this is the best the track has been for SX1
01:49because they're always following SX2. We gave them a pretty big gap in between these last two races.
01:55So right now, you're going to see a lot of speed early.
01:58One rider down. I believe that was Colton Nichols. Yes, Colton Nichols is down on his machine,
02:04the number 45, and he's going to crawl off to a safe spot behind the tough blocks to get it assisted to there.
02:12Wow, that was so sick by Jason Anderson.

02:17Yeah, comes down to that corner, just wheel taps his way into a blitz.
02:22And again, the track right now is the fastest that the SX1 boys have seen it.
02:25So you're going to see Anderson really, really push early.

02:38And Craig further back at 35. The medical flag is out, so they're going to roll through that section

03:17Don't jump those doubles because a week ago, Christian Craig was penalized five points
03:22for blitzing through the whoops.

03:27Jason keeps that back tire on the ground.

03:30And then you can attack again for at least, Colton might be moved by next lap.

04:13If they switch, that's a six-point swing between these two.
04:18And right now, I mean, they're all tied up pretty much.
04:20So if you're Joey Savace, you may not know this math right now, but this is so important for you.
04:26If you want to win this championship, six-point swing on the line.
04:30If you can get by El Hombre, who is one of the best, fastest, most defensive riders in the sport,
04:36who is also on offense right now.
04:37And he is just flowing.
04:39Look at that, how he rips through that whoop section there.
04:41And you know what they say, Daniel, when it comes to winning championships?

04:47I'll figure it out from there.
04:48And that's what Jason Anderson is doing.
04:50We're coming down to the last race of these five rounds for 2025.
04:55And Anderson has put himself in a position to now go to Cape Town and fight for this championship.
05:01And he's coming to grips with this Suzuki at just the right time.
05:06Perfect timing to get absolutely connected with your machine on the toughest track of the season.
05:11But I've got to say, Joey Sabacci is hanging in there.
05:14And I don't think we've seen the best of him just yet.
05:16This has been a pretty well-contained race while Jason's giving it everything.
05:20So if you're Joey, the clock is ticking.
05:23You're going to have to make a move here in the next lap or two and get close.
05:27As Jason wheelies his way through the whoops, I think a battle may be coming.
05:31It's going to be decided in the next lap or two if Joey can get to his rear tire.
05:34We'll find out.
05:35There's only a handful of laps left to go in this one.

06:06So Anderson still laying down the quickest laps of the night.

06:14Did you see how far to the left they were, almost off the racetrack to avoid the ruts over them?
06:20They are running out of real estate, but we've seen riders go down there, too.
06:24Christian Craig landed off that triple, hit a braking bump, and went down.
06:26So they're looking for clean real estate.
06:29I'm sorry, boys, but it is not out there.
06:31This is going to be a dogfight.
06:32You're going to have to take the lines that you know, hope that they work.
06:35And for Joey Savace, you're going to have to take a chance here.
06:38And don't forget, Jason Anderson, who's going for GP win number two here tonight in race
06:44number three, is the only rider in the field who actually raced in this building in the
06:49Supercross a few years ago.
06:51So he's got a little bit more experience on this dirt than the rest of the field that
06:56seems to be showing here the final two races here at Three Arena.

07:02There's a little bit of a rut through the braking bumps, and he found it.
07:05And, oh, by the way, when he raced here a few years ago, he won that one, too.
