00:00Talk to me about this, though.
00:01Like, the advent of Notre Dame getting in over Miami,
00:05where they were looks like they're automatically in.
00:07Now we're having stress.
00:08Is Alabama going to win today?
00:09Is BYU going to win today?
00:10We have so much to go over, and that's what's fun to watch this play out.
00:13Yeah, it is.
00:14I mean, if you want to take a shot, you know, on Calci
00:16and some of the other predictive markets,
00:18you could definitely do that because everything is wide open, right?
00:22And the big thing is we don't know exactly what's going to transpire today.
00:26We have a pretty good understanding statistically about what's happened in the past
00:30and what has happened this year in the regular season.
00:33But styles make fights, and anything can happen on any given Saturday.
00:37But I keep going back.
00:38If we're talking Notre Dame, 54 and 65 are the combined winning percentage
00:43and record of their 10 wins.
00:46You know, USC is their best win at 9-3 overall, and that came at home.
00:51The two biggest matchups that they had against Miami and A&M, they lost.
00:55Those 10 wins are 453 winning percentage.
00:59So, again, when you were riding that heater and it was going up, there was no doubt.
01:04It was under the assumption that Miami would lose.
01:08That Miami or either Miami loses or we didn't have to worry about Miami in some capacity.
01:17The fact that Miami got themselves righted after the SMU and Louisville losses all of a sudden then opened up everything
01:25because, again, you know what really hurt this whole situation too was the whole Alabama argument.
01:31Because if Alabama takes care of business against Oklahoma, Oklahoma, there's another spot.
01:36But because Oklahoma upset, nobody thought that was going to happen, right?
01:40No, the great Alabama and Kalen DeBoer were just going to walk out there and come back home with a W
01:47because that's what they always do.
01:48And they got kicked in the chops and lost a very close matchup to Oklahoma.
01:53But, again, nobody thought Oklahoma –
01:56Brett Venables at the start of the year was looked at as dead man walking.
02:01Yeah, it was.
02:02Because of them over-exceeding expectations and what transpired with Notre Dame and Miami
02:09and the fact that then now you have to worry about Bama, that's why we're here right now.
02:15Because, again, if Bama wins, Miami and Notre Dame are in, right?
02:21Yes.
