00:00How does it feel to be here in full glam at 8 a.m. in the morning?
00:03Oh my gosh, it was a surreal experience, but as an actress you're kind of used to it.
00:07I guess like I just, you know, it's been a few months since I've been on set
00:11and it's a weird thing doing it in your house at like 5 in the morning,
00:14but I was excited, I was excited to come, so it was well worth it.
00:19Why was it important for you to come out to this event and support these fellow powerful women?
00:24Oh my gosh, I mean, the lineup of women who are coming out
00:28and the work that they're doing is so exciting to me
00:30and the fact that they're giving away these scholarships
00:32and that's kind of what the event is centered around is incredibly inspiring and important
00:38and yeah, I just was really honored to be asked to attend.
00:43And you're on a show that's created by a woman.
00:47How would you say a woman leads a set differently maybe than a man does?
00:51Oh gosh, you know, I hate being so reductive in terms of men versus women with the whole thing,
00:56but I do feel like, I mean, I just, I, because I am a woman, I feel like we're highly empathic.
01:03There's like a level of tenderness.
01:05I will say I can speak to the fact that Erin Foster during the first season was a pregnant woman on set,
01:11which was a different experience and it just kind of created this like really free-flowing environment
01:16where there are a lot of different babies around and kids around and pregnant women around
01:22and it was kind of, I do feel like that was a singularly female feeling.
01:30So, yeah, I mean, I can't say, I think it's really about the human who's leading this set
01:36and I've seen some men do it like incredibly tenderly and with great empathy,
01:41but women, we just kind of inherently, I think, have that going for us.
01:45So, I love that and with your character, I was so glad she broke up with a therapist at the end of the season.
01:50We were like, we need to see her move on.
01:53What do you hope happens for her in season three?
01:56You know, it's such a boring answer, but I just, I, as an actor,
01:59I look forward to the surprise of not knowing what's coming
02:02and kind of seeing what the writers and the showrunner have in store.
02:05Morgan is such a far-out, fun, unbridled character, though,
02:10that there's so much potential for some really juicy stuff
02:13that I'm sure it will be really exciting.
02:15I can't wait.
02:16I can't wait.
