00:00Chase Infinity is heading into horror with some big names behind the project.
00:03Nathan Fielder is taking on the Elizabeth Holmes story in a way you probably won't expect.
00:08And three iconic Disney worlds are colliding on one stage.
00:12I'm Chris Gardner, senior writer at The Hollywood Reporter, and this is THR News.
00:17First up, Chase Infinity has found her next major movie role.
00:21Following her breakout performance in One Battle After Another and that Emmy nomination for The Testaments,
00:26Infinity is set to star in the upcoming horror film Portrait of God for Lionsgate.
00:32The film comes from rising horror director Dylan Clark, who will direct from a script he co-wrote with Joe
00:37Russo.
00:38The project is described as a new take on religious horror and expands on Clark's viral 2022 short film of
00:45the same name,
00:46which, by the way, I just searched and is still streaming on YouTube, so check it out.
00:50And there's some serious horror talent behind the scenes.
00:53Jordan Peele and Sam Raimi are both producing this one.
00:56Marking the first collaboration between these two genre heavyweights.
01:00Portrait of God also reunites Clark with Lionsgate, where he's currently developing a new Blair Witch movie.
01:07Next, Nathan Fielder's highly anticipated Elizabeth Holmes documentary, You Can See Everything, is officially heading to theaters.
01:22The A24 film, co-directed by Fielder and Primetime's Lance Oppenheim, made its New York premiere this week at the
01:30New York Film Festival, following a surprise debut at Telluride.
01:33The nearly three-hour documentary follows the disgraced Theranos founder during the final 34 days before she reported to prison
01:41back in 2023,
01:42with Fielder and his crew getting extraordinary access to homes, her partner, and their family.
01:48The project ultimately became a three-year journey, with Fielder admitting now that even after making the film, he's still
01:55trying to understand exactly what he experienced.
01:58You can see Everything opens in theaters October 16th through A24, and you can bet we will be seated.
02:04And finally, Disney Channel fans are getting the ultimate crossover.
02:09Disney's Worlds Collide concert tour is officially underway, bringing together the music of Descendants, Zombies, and, for the first time,
02:17Camp Rock, in one massive arena show.
02:20The nearly three-hour concert features eight Disney stars, including Malachi Barton, Dara Renee, Lamani Segura, and Hudson Stone,
02:28performing fan favorites, new mashups, and, of course, high-energy production numbers.
02:32The tour kicked off September 25th in Palm Desert, California, and then will travel across North America this fall before
02:39heading overseas.
02:40And for longtime Disney Channel fans, the addition of Camp Rock brings some serious nostalgia,
02:45introducing songs from the franchise to the Worlds Collide stage for the first time.
