Tiger Forth Padrigao ends UAAP stint   Forth Padrigao ends his UAAP men's basketball career after UST fell to win-once UP in their Season 88 Final Four game at the Araneta Coliseum on Dec. 3, 2025. Padrigao reflected on his 2-year stint with UST and his whole UAAP collegiate career which he started with Ateneo. The 6-foot Padrigao transferred to the Growling Tigers after Season 85 where he seized a spot in the Mythical Team and a championship with the Blue Eagles.  Padrigao logged six points and four assists in his final UAAP game against UP. 00:03Well, we're not happy about the results, but personally, I'm really happy about our team

00:12because the improvement of the kids from last season to this season

00:18It's a big leap for them and for the UST

00:22and I think hopefully it's something to be excited about for the upcoming season for the team.

00:30So, your UAP career, you represented two schools, Ateneo, UST, you won one championship.

00:37What can you say about your whole career?

00:40Yeah, like what I said earlier, I'm really grateful that I experienced this.

00:47I'm really grateful that I've been to Ateneo, I've been to UST.

00:52And, you know, just really grateful for the experiences, you know,

00:56the wins, the losses, the earnings, and just really absorbing everything and trying to be present.

01:02And, you know, just being thankful for everything.

01:05Unfortunately, sa Ateneo, you were one of the younger guys na mabagay,

01:08o yung nile-lead.

01:09Pero, magdating mo sa UST, you had to step up and be one of the leaders for, you know, up and down.

01:13So, mabagay, yung sort of two-year skill mo sa UST,

01:16when you talk about how it really helped your maturity as a person, as a player.

01:20Well, yung leadership ko naman kasi sila rin yung nagpadali, yung teammates ko eh.

01:25Kasi, you know, I'm just one of the guys.

01:27I'm just one of them.

01:28And, you know, just, may, may, siyante, may respeto sila kasi mas matanda ako.

01:33Pero, you know, on a normal basis, on a daily basis,

01:36para lang kami magta-tropa.

01:37And, you know, pero alam namin kung kailan na mag-seriso when it's business time.

01:42Alam namin kung kailan mag-seriso.

01:43And, you know, that's what I really like about, about our team.

01:46Worthy or quite emotional when you sang the alma mater earlier?

01:49And then, pero, even still, you were lifting everyone up.

01:54So, can you just talk about still being a leader at the end of it?

01:58Well, mahirap kasi,

02:00it's our, you know, last team na for UAP Calder.

02:12just, you know, really thankful about everything and,

02:19yung leadership din naman,

02:20siguro,

02:21atatakos sa,

02:22support lang eh.

02:26just wanna be,

02:36you've talked about being accepted by your,

02:41just the acceptance of the USD community as a whole.

02:44How has it been for the past two, three years?

02:47the type of acceptance that they gave you when you transferred here?

02:57nung nag-dinner kami,

02:58na really welcomed me na parang,

03:06gano'n yung trato niya sa akin nun eh.

03:15sa admin namin doon,

03:16or professors,

03:22naging painful lang rin talaga,

03:24binigyan nila ako ng,

03:25second chance sa,

03:26UUAP career.
