La Salle completes final four cast
De La Salle booted out Ateneo de Manila, 78-72, at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, November 26 to complete the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball Final Four cast.
Jacob Cortez delivered a jumper to make it a 4-point lead for the Green Archers in the last 12.4 seconds, while Mike Phillips scored the insurance free throws in the final 10 ticks after being fouled in an interception.
The Blue Eagles couldn't manufacture a basket on the other end with Shawn Tuano and Waki Espina missing their last-gasp treys.
La Salle entered the semis as the fourth seed with an 8-6 slate, while Ateneo dropped to 6-8 for sixth place.
