00:00Weird story in Philadelphia.
00:02I'm trying to wrap my head around involving the offensive coordinator,
00:06Kevin Petullo, who's the embattled offensive coordinator.
00:09A lot of people want his head, of course.
00:11Some neighborhood kids, and I say kids, I'm thinking late teens, early 20s.
00:15Because they were obviously able to drive over to his house.
00:18They went to the man's house and they egged his house.
00:21They videoed it.
00:22And videotaped it because that's the generation, right?
00:25Being knuckleheads.
00:26Snitching on themselves.
00:27But it's weird, like, obviously, you know, I don't know, I assume he has a family.
00:31He does.
00:32And that's obviously a scary situation that people decided to find out where the man lived
00:37and then, you know, throw eggs at his house.
00:39It's not even the egg part of it because we've all been foolish as children
00:42and egg houses and toilet-papered houses.
00:45But this just has a different feel to it.
00:48I agree.
00:48And this is why Philadelphia does have a bad rap.
00:51I know it's the actions of a few that make everyone else, you know, look bad.
00:55You can hate Kevin Bertullo all you want.
00:57A month ago, I told you I thought that he should be replaced as offensive coordinator.
01:01But to physically drive to the dude's house where his family is, his family's not coaching the Eagles.
01:07His wife is not coaching the Eagles.
01:10If he has children, they're not coaching the Eagles.
01:12And to make them fear for their safety is just flat-out stupid.
01:17And I want to minimize it in that it was just eggs.
01:20Yeah.
01:21And, you know, Mischief Night was something that we grew up with generationally.
01:24And you would throw eggs at a house and you would throw eggs at your toilet paper or a house.
01:30This just feels different to me a little bit.
01:32It does.
01:32Because now everybody knows where the man lives.
01:35And what's going to stop the next guy from doing something worse than eggs?
01:38Right.
01:38And I know that's kind of like, I don't know, like Chicken Little a little bit.
01:42The sky is falling.
01:43Like, you know, eggs is one thing.
01:45But, you know, Eagle fans are passionate.
01:47No, it's real.
01:47And like you said, it only takes one.
01:49And what bothers me just as much, and I love Philadelphia, and I love Philadelphia fans,
01:53it's the idiots that will encourage this and act like, that guy's a great fan.
01:58That guy's great.
01:59Those people, to me, are just as much of a problem.
02:02This was wrong to do.
02:03You don't do it.
02:05And that's it.
02:06I don't want to make it into World War III.
02:07Right.
02:07It's just that it was wrong.
02:08They didn't shoot his house up.
02:10Right.
02:10They didn't leave flaming bags of dog crap on it.
02:13You know, they egged this house.
02:14Right.
02:15Big picture, not that big a deal.
02:17But you can't condone it.
02:19Right.
02:19You can't say, hey, great job, guys.
02:21You know, and these idiots who filmed it, they're going to get caught, obviously.
02:25Right?
02:25So, look, it's why Philadelphia, again, can't get out of its own way.
02:30And by the way, and here's the thing I would say about Philly.
02:33And this is what fascinates me.
02:36The Eagles won a Super Bowl 11 months ago.
02:40Yeah.
02:4010 months ago, right?
02:4110 months ago.
02:42They're also right now in first place in the NFC East.
02:47Now, have they played well?
02:48They have not.
02:49Is the offense broken?
02:50It seems like it is.
02:52The defensive line was atrocious against the Bears on Friday night.
02:55But the reality is that you just egged the house of an offensive coordinator whose team is in first place.
