00:10But one of the best things about this Bears team, they're number one in rushing.

00:17Xander, one of the things that the Eagles have struggled at so far this year and really a little bit
00:21of a year ago when all their losses has been run defense.
00:25Is that where the game is tonight there in Chicago?
00:27How well Vic Fangio's run defense plays against this Bears run game?
00:33Yeah, obviously, I think you hit the nail on the head.
00:35Obviously, they're missing Caleb Williams in this game.
00:37They're down to their third quarterback.
00:39You're going to start Case Keenum.
00:41Tyson Badgent, their second quarterback, is available.
00:43So we'll see if he gets a shot in the game, if Case Keenum is able to finish it out.
00:47Or if, I don't know, maybe he's not good enough and they go to Tyson at some point.
00:50I am wondering if there's some gamesmanship there.
00:52But so this is an old school football game.
00:54Before the break, we talked a little bit about how Saquon hasn't been able to get going.
00:58Eagles, first and second down, they can't run the ball.
01:00And then you nailed it as well on the defensive side.
01:03Haven't been able to stop the run.
01:04What do you need to do versus Bears team?
01:06The number one rushing attack in football without their starting quarterback, it's stop the run.
01:10And I think you'll see more five-man fronts from Vic Fangio tonight.
01:14And Vic has even showed in the past, if it's really gashing him, he'll go to a six-man front.
01:19Now, that's probably an extreme, but I'm expecting a lot more five-man fronts tonight, especially on that left side.
01:24If you're the Bears' right side of their line, they have Darnell Wright and Jonah Jackson over there.
01:29And that's really the workhorses, the two guys that they run the football behind.
01:32So I expect them to slant the defense to that left side and try and take away the run game
01:37over there.
01:38And that's really the recipe for the Eagles' defense tonight.
01:40You know, Z, last week, Brian Flores brought a lot of pressure.
01:44Vic Fangio is really not known for bringing a ton of pressure.
01:47And especially when you have a quarterback that's been replaced now with the third-team guy.
01:52We're not even talking about the second-team guy.
01:54You expect him to still stay in that too high shell, not really bring the pressure?
01:58Or do you think they bring some pressure to try to maybe, you know, get the quarterback off his number
02:04here?
02:04Because, again, they're going to have to get Colston Loveland going.
02:07If the Bears are going to have an opportunity to win this game, they've got to get him going.
02:10He's got one catch through the first eight quarters of football.
02:14They've got to get him going if you're going to be in this ballgame, if you're the Bears.
02:18Yeah, I mean, if you're talking about anybody other than Vic Fangio, maybe I buy that.
02:22And I say, sure, they'll probably learn from that and go to it.
02:25But Vic Fangio is tried and true in what he runs and his defense.
02:29And I would expect him to stick to it, Sills, for the most part, 24% in the blitz rate.
02:35And that's what I would expect it to be.
02:36Now, maybe, depending on how the game, you know, goes, if they're unable to stop the runner, if they're struggling
02:41with that,
02:41that's where I think you could see some variation.
02:43If this game gets into the second half, look out.
02:47Because then I think you're favoring the Bears if you get into the second half.
02:50If you're the Eagles, you want to come out here and put this team away,
02:52get better field position on defense by not allowing them to run the football.
02:55And that should put your offense in a good position as well.
02:58But Vic Fangio, I'm not expecting him to adopt Brian Flores' game plan.
03:02They're almost like polar opposites in terms of defensive philosophy.
03:06Both great coordinators, but very different in the way they run their defense.
