Stephen Chow plays an arrogant, corrupt celebrity chef who loses his title and fortune when he is exposed as a fraud by a rival. Humbled and living on the streets, he teams up with a rough-talking food stall owner (Karen Mok) and learns the true meaning of cooking at the Shaolin Temple. He returns to challenge his rival in the ultimate culinary battle using his signature dish: "Sorrowful Rice."
