00:00Where do you think this team stacks up across the rest of the AFC right now
00:03when you sort of look at the landscape?
00:06I think they're right at the top where they are.
00:08I mean, I watched the game yesterday with Denver.
00:12Denver's right now, because we haven't played, is at the top of the AFC, I guess, right?
00:17Yeah.
00:17Because of the tiebreaker or whatever the case may be.
00:20And you know we never really look at that.
00:22It depends on who finishes where.
00:24But it's a team that's constantly getting better.
00:29And I always say this, it's like an airplane taking off.
00:35That's the way you want your season to go.
00:36You want to constantly get better as the weeks go on.
00:40And you want to understand the game better.
00:42You want to develop.
00:42You want to work on the little things.
00:44You want to become better as a player.
00:46And I think Mike, because he played the game and he was on those winning teams
00:50and he saw that happen time and time again, he experienced it.
00:54He can give that experience to the players.
00:56He can guide them that way when it's coaching.
00:58He knows how to practice the guys on the football field.
01:01He knows when it's time to wrap it up a little bit more while we're working out.
01:05We're going to get stronger while everybody is feeling sorry for themselves
01:09and feeling a little beat up.
01:10We're going to do more.
01:11We're going to be stronger towards the end of the season.
01:14That's what Parcells used to do.
01:15And as you mentioned, Parcells, you know, we would start off the season kind of beat up
01:19because the camps and everything was tough, right, Zoe?
01:21But towards the end of the year, we were stronger and more physical
01:25and probably fresher than any other team because of the way we worked.
01:29Those were real two-a-days.
01:30I remember that bitch tent.
01:31Everybody would sit in that tent and bitch before practice.
01:33That's what we called it.
01:35What did you do?
01:35We did 9 on 7 in the morning.
01:37We did blitz period and full pads in the afternoon.
01:39Like, you guys hit every play.
01:41We got to have a red track.
01:42Half-line, one-on-one, it never stopped.
01:43Yeah.
