00:40We were saying this general elections were called by prime minister and he was calling this for the governing party of the San Lucia Labour Party to try to renew this mandate.
00:53We were saying also that this was an early call that sought to take advantage of all the achievements in terms of health, of education and other areas.
01:04Also, a lot of policies boosting youth policies as well and the concerns over jobs in general.
01:11Using those achievements in order to boost the electoral power and be able to renew the mandate at this moment.
01:20That was what Prime Minister Philippe Pierre is seeking.
01:23The other leader of the opposition, the UWP, the United Workers' Party, Alan Chastanet, is from the opposition party.
01:34He is seeking to come back to the prime minister position after leaving it in 2021.
01:41And he's actually expected to vote at this center that we are here right now.
01:47So the media is expecting him.
01:49The prime minister, current prime minister Pierre, has not voted yet.
