00:00We're going now to Saint Lucia. The Saint Lucia Labour Party won this Monday's general election, securing Philippe-Pierre's re-elections as Prime Minister.
00:09Polls are showing an overwhelming victory for the Saint Lucia Labour Party, as is currently winning 14 out of the 17 constituencies.
00:17In Castries East, incumbent Prime Minister Philippe-Joseph Pierre won the race with over 77% of the votes.
00:25The party secured victory also in Castries South, and choice-holders were Ernest Hillary and Keith St. Charles won with 67.7% and 53.9% respectively.
00:39In Ansel Araya Canaries, the SLP candidate Wayne Girard also secured victory with 55% of the votes.
00:47Emma Hippolyte for the SLP as well won in South Freire in Meco North and Dennery North.
00:56The Saint Lucia Labour Party also secured victory.
00:59This Monday, more than 179,000 citizens were called to the polls to choose representatives for all 76 in the House of Assembly.
