00:00T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been temporarily pulled from anchoring the third hour of Good
00:04Morning America, as ABC figures out what the next steps should be in the wake of a tabloid
00:09report revealing a personal relationship between the anchors. ABC News President Kim Godwin
00:14announced the move on ABC's Monday morning editorial call. She said,
00:18I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy,
00:23I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for
00:27the ABC News organization. She went on to say, quote,
00:30These decisions are not easy. They are not knee-jerk, but they are necessary for the brand.
00:35Godwin added that she won't address the matter on the call again until there is more to be said,
00:39and she revealed that Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos will be anchoring GMA3 for now. Holmes has
00:45been with ABC News since 2014 and has co-anchored GMA3 since 2020. Robach joined ABC News in 2012
00:52and also joined GMA3 in 2020. The co-anchors were revealed to be in a relationship by the Daily
00:58Mail earlier this month. Both Holmes and Robach are married, though they have each separated from
