00:00And so we shall go to war with generals gathered in their masses.
00:05This is Tom Campbell from Cultaholic Wrestling with what happened at Survivor Series War Games 2025.
00:13We open at Petco Park with the Women's War Games match.
00:17It's here we learn that WWE have done away with the shark cages for each team.
00:22Instead, each competitor entering after a countdown to their theme music.
00:26It means the contest is quicker to get going and it gives the match beyond a bit of a pseudo Royal Rumble energy.
00:33And I like it.
00:34Charlotte Flair and Asuka kick things off for the first five minute interval.
00:38Two who will forever have great chemistry.
00:41Flair was in charge with those Devil's Kiss-esque headscissors.
00:44But Asuka busts out a plethora of kicks to turn the match around.
00:49Asuka in charge when the buzzer sounds and Eoskai enters next.
00:52It's armed with a custom bin lid which, after she styles out a springboard from one ring to another, she uses as part of an extra strength bullet train.
01:01Asuka gets back up from a kendo stick wielding Becky Lynch who goes to Eoskai like she's just flipped off her husband's Tesla truck until Charlotte Flair disarms her.
01:11Becky attempts a horsewoman reunion to no avail and Lynch and Flair then go at it.
01:17A battle briefly halted so they can hit dual Bexploder suplexes on Eoskai and Asuka.
01:23As Charlotte is getting beaten down against the cage, Alexa Bliss hits the ring to shift the momentum and save her best friend from a Becky beating.
01:31The odds get evened with Kairi Sane who enters to her magnificent pirate music, swashbuckling into the match with a steel chain wrapped around her fist.
01:39Kairi hoistens Eoskai with her own bin lid before Skye, Flair and Bliss get chained together and dropkicked.
01:46We light it up next with AJ Lee.
01:49Becky Lynch holding the cage door shut to keep AJ Lee out.
01:54Lee will not be denied.
01:55She enters over the top of the cage and arrives with a crossbody onto the Kabuki Warriors.
02:00Lee gives Becky a pay sting from here, driving her into the steel cage over and over again.
02:05Asuka and Kairi Sane jump Lee, but the besties break up the beatdown just as Nia Jax, cosplaying as the Pink Power Ranger,
02:15enters the match beyond and attempts to mighty more Flair and Bliss' faces into the steel cage.
02:21EO gets powerbombed off the cage soon afterwards and Team Asuka take control.
02:26With that, it's time for her brutality as Rhea Ripley enters wearing an art-the-clown-inspired mask and carrying kendo sticks and a pair of trash cans.
02:37The sexy, scary Rhea-bloody bin man brutalizes everybody before she and EO double-team Kairi with bin-based offense.
02:45That is until Nia Jax plows into them both.
02:48With everybody down, freshly engaged, Lash Legend finally enters the fray and the War Games match officially begins.
02:57The booty bully bullies Bliss, flattens Flair and swats Sky out of the sky before roughhousing Rhea and Nia Jax joins her for a bit of double-team destruction on anybody that's moving,
03:09including launching EO Sky from one ring to another.
03:12The tide turns when Charlotte Flair saves Rhea Ripley from an Asuka misting, with Lash getting blinded by her own teammates.
03:21Team Rhea take advantage from here and the end comes when EO Sky does her classic War Games special bin-dive, this time Swanton Bomb-flavored.
03:32Everybody but Becky is bowled over by EO Sky and the man is surrounded by her closest enemies
03:39as she taps out to AJ Lee's Octopus Hold, giving the win to the goodies to kick off Survivor Series War Games.
03:50The Intercontinental title is on the line next.
03:55Dirty Dominic Mysterio, flanked by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, gets his rematch against the new IC champion John Cena.
04:05It's John Cena's first time defending the IC title, but it's his last time competing on a WWE PLE.
04:14JD shenanigans give Dirty Dom the unclean lead very early on.
04:18At one point, Rodriguez knocking Cena's block off with a right hand whilst Dom distracted the ref.
04:24Cena's comeback gets halted when Dom rolls out of the ring and blindsides Cena whilst Roxanne and Raquel run distraction.
04:31Dom goes for a barricade hurricanrana but lands on his shoulder, eerily similar to what happened with Penta on Raw.
04:39It looks like the match is going to be stopped as the ref calls for the medical team who check Dom over.
04:44With the ref distracted, Rodriguez hits John Cena with a Tejana bomb and Roxanne hits John Cena with Pop Rocks.
04:52And would you believe it?
04:54It was a setup all along.
04:57Dom springs back to life and hits a 619 and a frog splash on John Cena, but referee Chad Patton refuses to count the three.
05:06And he ejects the JD contingent from ringside.
05:09This gives Cena some time to recover.
05:11He lands the shoulder, the shoulder, the blue thunder bomb, the five knuckle shuffle.
05:15But Dom rolls out of the AA, only to get trapped in the STF moments later.
05:20Dom makes the ropes where he unzips his boot.
05:24Cena goes to drag Dom into the center of the ring and pulls Dom's boot off.
05:29And in scenes eerily similar to Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 20, Dom goes for the kill from here, hitting a 619 and a frog splash.
05:38But it only gets a two.
05:41Cena plucks an AA out of thin air, but it's only DOS for Dirty Dom.
05:45Dom will dodge a shoulder block that Chad Patton absorbs, which is just the opening that JD McDonough and Finn Balor need to bust out of the clubhouse and put a pace in on John.
05:57Cena dodges aerial offense from McDonough and from Balor and for one final time gives us a double AA.
06:05Dom flies at John with a AAA mega title, but Cena avoids it to land another AA.
06:10And then, with no referee in sight, Liv Morgan returns to WWE, bobbing towards the ring, where she stares off with Dominic Mysterio before clocking him across the face.
06:25Seems to whiff it, almost like she didn't properly hit him.
06:29She hugs John Cena, but has a look on her face that suggests this isn't what John Cena thinks it is.
06:37From here, Liv Morgan low blows John Cena.
06:41It was a ruse, says Wade Barrett.
06:44Morgan cracks Cena with the AAA title, allowing Dom to hit one more 619 and one more frog splash for the 123.
06:54Dirty Dominic Mysterio gets the win, gets the Intercontinental title, and gets the girl.
07:01Dominic Mysterio and Liv Morgan leave together.
07:05We are so back, baby, declares Liv Morgan.
07:09You certainly are, guys.
07:11You certainly are.
07:13It's worth pointing out that just after this, we had the new WrestleMania advert featuring the women's roster, and Liv Morgan is now in it.
07:23So when Triple H said, you'll never know who's going to show up, he meant Liv Morgan.
07:28Oh, Paul, you've done it again.
07:31The women's world title hangs in the balance next.
07:36Friendship ended with Stephanie Vaquer.
07:39Now Nikki Bella wants to be champion.
07:41Bella blindsides Vaquer from the bell, but Steph will retaliate soon after with a fight that goes outside the ring.
07:49Nikki takes over when Vaquer cracks her knee on the hardest part of the ring,
07:52and Bella follows up with a face buster on the floor and protracted punishment back in the ring.
07:59Steph makes several attempts to get back into this with strikes and a tarantula armbar, but Nikki keeps the pressure on.
08:07Bella gets cocky and teases, going for the devil's kiss.
08:10It's almost her undoing when Steph gets into position for some bouncy bouncy,
08:15but Bella makes the ropes and drapes Steph's arm over the top to get back in charge.
08:20Weird bit here where Nikki goes for a boot to Steph's face, and Steph just sort of no-sells it.
08:27So Bella goes for another one, and this time Steph hits a dragon screw and the SVB for the two.
08:35Rack attack from Bella gets blocked, but after a back and forth in the turnbuckle,
08:39which sees Bella kicking Steph in the heath springboard style,
08:42the rack attack is cracked, but lacks a three due to Steph getting her foot on the ropes.
08:47Fikir drops a big knee on the throat of Bella on the apron,
08:52which leads to Steph taking Nikki to the announce table for a commentation station bit of bouncy bouncy devil's kiss action.
09:01Booker T somewhere is seething.
09:05More devil's kissing in the center of the ring leads to a corkscrew splash and the three count.
09:11La Primera is still the premier.
09:13When it comes to the Women's World Championship, Nikki Bella can look, but she can't touch.
09:20With that, it is time for your main event.
09:26The Men's War Games match gets underway with World Champion CM Punk and The Vision's Bron Breaker.
09:34Intense start to this one.
09:37Strikes by CM Punk and power from Bron Breaker.
09:41Breaker breaks Punk's momentum with two overhead suplexes,
09:45but Punk gets back into it with a clothesline off of Brett's rope.
09:49Just as CM Punk is in charge of things, Drew McIntyre marches to the ring to tip the scales.
09:55Drew and Punk pick up where they left off last time they were in a cage together,
09:59but very quickly, Punk finds himself being thrown into a claymore by badass Bron Breaker.
10:05Bron and Drew lawn dart Punk into the cage and take turns putting a beating on him.
10:11Drew seemingly obsessed with trying to gouge Punk's eyes out.
10:15What is this?
10:16The horror show at Extreme Rules 2020?
10:20That's the one where they had the eye for an eye match between Rollins and Rey Mysterio.
10:24I've tried to forget it as well.
10:26Punk gets a shot of adrenaline in his soul, back up in the form of Cody Rhodes.
10:31Drew stops Cody getting into the ring, which is nice of him because it means the crowd can sing the woes
10:37as Cody climbs over the top of the cage and cross-bodies his way into the match.
10:43Cody miscalculates and accidentally elbows a now-bloodied CM Punk once he's settled into the match.
10:50Thankfully, they're able to coexist enough to hit a heart attack on Drew McIntyre
10:54and a doomsday device on Bron Breaker, which sees Breaker land on his neck.
11:01You immediately sense concern from everybody in there
11:04because Bron's taking a breather on the one side of the ring.
11:08Despite the fact they show a replay, they keep the camera off Bron
11:11whilst Drew takes a pace in from Punk and Cody Rhodes.
11:15Logan Paul is out next, who goes under the ring and grabs a couple of steel chairs.
11:19Bron's back in the action at this point, and the match seems back on track.
11:24As Paul lands a dive from one ring to the other onto CM Punk.
11:29Cody and Paul find themselves atop the cage where Breaker slams a steel chair into Cody's leg,
11:35which leads to chair-assisted violence from Bron, Drew and Paul,
11:39keeping the two top-tier title men on the receiving end.
11:43The champs get a little bit of help from Big Jim,
11:46who brings a slim gym table into the match beyond,
11:49along with a side serving of superkicks and a corkscrew sent on.
11:53Drew cuts Jimmy off with a claymore, and Bron decapitates him with a running clothesline
11:58before sending Cody Rhodes plummeting off the top with a Frankensteiner.
12:03This is the man who landed on his gosh-darn head ten minutes ago.
12:07He's unstoppable.
12:08The other Bron, Bronson Reed, is enlisted next into the war games
12:12and immediately exorcises his demons from last year with Tsunamis onto Punk,
12:18Jimmy and Cody.
12:19The baddies are baddie-ing.
12:21A brief Jimmy Uso superkick party does not halt their momentum,
12:25but the arrival of Jey Uso does,
12:28yeeting into the match and turning it around with superkicks and a 1D
12:32before we run it back and they play his music again.
12:36Jey is on the top of the cage,
12:37having the time of his life dancing to his own theme music.
12:41I remember one that happened in that cage match with the Horsemen back in the 80s.
12:46Anyway, the music's cut off by the arrival of Brock Lesnar.
12:50No countdown here.
12:51Just get Brock out there.
12:53And Lesnar immediately sends the Usos,
12:56Cody and CM Punk to Suplex City.
12:59Then the F5s start coming out.
13:01Jimmy Uso, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso all eat Brock's finish.
13:07Punk comes at him with a chair.
13:09Cody comes at him with strikes.
13:11And comebacks are attempted but failed.
13:14Brock Lesnar is in God mode and nothing is stopping him.
13:18With that, the countdown hits zero.
13:21And Roman Reigns finally arrives in the match.
13:25Brock Lesnar meets him outside the cage
13:28and they brawl around the ring.
13:30Reigns peeling out Superman punches like they're in the Black Friday sale.
13:35Reigns goes for one too many though.
13:37And Lesnar catches in midair an F5s OTC through the announce table.
13:44Lesnar will batter Reigns all the way back to the ring
13:47where the War Games match officially begins.
13:50He hits an F5 on Reigns but Cody breaks the cover.
13:53The good guys rally.
13:55Brock eats a GTS and a crossroads.
13:56But the stacked up cover is broken by a frog splashing Logan Paul.
14:02Paul Heyman hands Logan Paul the brass knuckles.
14:05And Logan cracks Cody and Jey Uso with them.
14:08But Reigns lands a spear before he can meet the same fate.
14:12Reigns then steals Logan's brass knucks which gives him plus 500 power
14:17with the Superman punch which is cracked onto Bronson Reed and Drew McIntyre
14:23before Brom Breaker eats a spear.
14:26Brock goes to F5 Jey Uso and Roman spears both his enemy and his family
14:31through the Slender James table in the corner.
14:34In the other ring Drew low blows Cody and Brom Breaker spears him.
14:39Punk then hits a GTS on Logan Paul as a mystery hooded individual enters the cage,
14:46kicks CM Punk in the face and lands a curb stomp.
14:50Could it be?
14:52But Seth Rollins has just had surgery.
14:54It can't be him.
14:55We'll never know as this hooded mystery man or person beats a hasty retreat.
15:02Punk is wide open for a whopper of a spear from Brom Breaker who gets the pin on Punk
15:09and wins war games for his team.
15:12Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed and Brom Breaker
15:17all stand outside the cage triumphantly as the Usos, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns
15:23are left in the ring to figure all this out.
15:27Reigns, Cody and Punk all stand up together.
15:30Punk offering Roman Reigns a fist bump and Cody offering daggers.
15:36Roman and Cody stare each other down as Survivor Series comes to an end,
15:42seemingly setting the stage for a WrestleMania rubber match.
15:48And with that, to quote John and Yoko, happy Christmas, war is over.
